The role of the manager operations and telecommunication group is to be accountable for all aspects of IT infrastructure and applications daily operations and procedures for head office and offshore banking unit in Bahrain. The operations and telecommunication group manager ensures services availability and provides secured access to all IT resources via implementing policies and operations procedures. He is also responsible for applications/services disaster recovery implementation to ensure business continuity.

•Implements and continually recommends improvement of IT operational procedures associated to IT infrastructure management, applications daily operations, and other housekeeping operations.
•Ensures effective implementation of security and IT services utilization policies by best exploiting the capability of available hardware, system software, and messaging applications.
•Develops and implements operation and support plan to ensure continuity of IT services, and keep unplanned outage of IT services within an agreeable reasonable time frame.
•Organizes and implements effective helpdesk and troubleshooting support team and monitors its performance.
•Develops implements and regularly tests elements of the corporate disaster recovery plan.
•Monitors and follows up enhancements and development in technology of corporate IT infrastructure, LAN security and messaging applications and to implement relevant features of new releases/batches.
•Identifies vulnerability of security scheme and implements necessary remedial actions.
•Reviews and enhances reliability and resilience of IT infrastructure to meet business requirements.
