JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaise with the Customer Representative for the conduct of day-to-day quality related activities of the project.
Reading and reviewing Project specifications and respective applicable standards prior to start of work.
Supervision and inspection of all civil site work activities prior to start, in process and final stage of work as per specification and standards.
Monitoring the quality of work progress and updating it to QC Manager.
Identification of good source of material through vendor evaluation.
Preparation of all documents related to inspections & attending inspections with client for all civil site work activities.
Responsible for proper inspection/ review of works as per ITP/Method Statement/Drawings/Contract requirements.
Act as a focal point in absence of QA/QC Lead in the project.
Preparation of project specific Procedures, Work Instructions and ITP as required in the project in consultation with QA/QC Lead.
Monitor the work activities for the effective implementation of quality management systems of the project.
Monitor that relevant procedures/method statements are approved prior to carry out the project.
Raise site quality deficiency observation, Non-Conformances (NCRs), where wanted, on process / product non-conformances.
Maintain all relevant updated Codes & Standards, Specification and Quality Management System documents.
Coordinate with Head (Quality & HSE) for Internal / External Quality Audits and follow-up audits in absence of Lead QA/QC.
Analyze corrective & preventive actions taken on CARs and NCRs in coordination with QA/QC Lead and monitor the effectiveness of Corrective action.
Identify in-house training needs relating to Quality for all personnel in civil discipline.
Regularly inspect Subcontractor’s activities for compliance with Quality requirements.
Liaise with the Discipline Engineers in case of non-conformance and ensure corrective actions are taken.
liaise with disciple engineer to resolve the work-related issues.
Ensure that RFI are closed in due time.
Monitor control of inspection, measuring & test equipment.
Close the punch lists in the project in time.
Turnaround of documents for final package submission.
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and submit to QA/QC Lead/Head-QHSE
Reports to the Head-QHSE
Performing other duties as assigned with safety.
