•Review and prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed design drawings, spec, BoD, value engineering, BoQ, SoW/RFP, technical documents for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements.
•Develop HVAC & PL & FF basis of design reports for conceptual and detail design projects and obtain approvals from client representatives.
•Develop studies for existing & new buildings, conducting site surveys along with the development of engineering documents.
•Resolve technical issues, discrepancies and conflicts related to mechanical design and construction activities, and provide timely solutions to keep the project on track.
•Review and interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and project documents ensure their alignment with project scope and client requirements.
•Review and approve mechanical shop & As-built drawings, material submittals, method statements submitted by contractors & subcontractors.
•Conduct technical meetings with clients, subconsultants, vendors, internal stakeholders to resolve design-related issues and ensure project continuity.
•Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure selected equipment complies with design and performance requirements.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, Civil, Structural, Architectural, Telecom, Instrumentation & BIM) to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
•Liaise with the AHJ for approvals and compliance.
•Assist and guide draftsmen & newly graduated engineers to ensure the highest quality.
•Provide technical clarifications and responses to RFIs from the contractor.
•Provide technical advice and justifications to client queries and concerns.
•Support project managers with progress reporting and documentation.
•Awareness of applicable handbooks and guidance, guidelines, codes with standards such as (ASHRAE, SMACNA, IMC, UMC, IPC, UPC, ASPE, AWWA, NFPA, IFC, SBC, SAS, SEC, IBC, SAF, HTM) & Spec as per (AHRI, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, AMCA, ACCA).

•Worked on Aramco GESi+ projects, delivering mechanical design and engineering services in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, procedures, and specifications.
•Develop detailed mechanical system designs for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems in accordance with international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, SAS, SAF, SATORP, SABIC, SBC, ICC, etc.) and local standards.
•Perform cooling load, duct, pipe sizing, and hydraulic calculations using software such as HAP, Elite...etc.
•Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and MTOs for all mechanical systems.
•Ensure proper selection of mechanical equipment.
•Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to avoid conflicts and ensure interdisciplinary integration.
•Conduct site visits to assess existing HVAC & plumbing & firefighting systems, identify deficiencies, and recommend retrofit or upgrade solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

•Delivered mechanical designs for Aramco GESi+ projects in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards.
•Perform & analysis HVAC cooling load calculations by using HAP 6.3 & cHVAC Elite.
•Perform duct ISP & ESP calculations.
•Develop HVAC duct layouts including duct sizing & routing & selection of duct materials as per international standards.
•Select the HVAC equipment and review the vendor equipment selection.
•Develop schematic layouts & single line diagrams for both air and water systems.
•Develop HVAC chilled water layouts including flow rate, pipe sizing, routing, pipe support spacing, Isometric, selection of pipe materials and insulation.
•Perform head loss calculations for chilled water systems.
•Perform control valve selection as per selected water system.
•Select all air terminal devices and review the vendor selection.
•Assist CADD Designers for quality.
•Develop HVAC system control diagram along with sequence of operation.
•Perform ventilation calculations as per ASHRAE 62.1 & 170 standard.
•Prepare basis of design report (BoD) and scope of work (SoW) & Spec.
•Prepare schedule equipment for HVAC & plumbing & FF systems.
•Coordinate with other disciplines such as architectural, civil, structural, electrical design and drafting activities including 3D design.

•FLS and Firefighting systems (Portable Extinguishers, Sprinkler systems, Standpipe & Hose Systems, Fire Pumps, Firefighting Water Tanks, Hydrant Systems, Water Spray Fixed Systems, Water Mist Systems, Foam Systems, Clean Agent & CO2 & Aerosol Systems, Smoke Control Systems).
•Solve the technical issues with giving proposals.
•Review the design drawings & calculations as per standards.
•Sites visit and conducting reports.

NEOM Green Hydrogen Plant Projects as a contractor, reviewing designs for three 380 kV substations: Load, PV Solar, and Wind Energy, supporting a major renewable energy initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

•Review the design drawings & calculations which are prepared by sub-contractor as per standards & codes & PTS.
•Review mechanical services design (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) and coordination of all technical aspects of the design with other discipline team.
•Review cooling & heating load calculations, duct sizing calculations, pressure drop calculations, HVAC equipment selections, sketch ducting layouts, diffuser/grille selections, sizing smoke purge fan capacity and exhaust fan capacity for ventilation as per ASHREA & SMACNA & SEC & IMC & SBC standards.
•Review FF designs in line with NFPA & IFC & SBC codes requirements, standpipe & sprinkler system designs, Hydrants, Clean Agent suppression system designs, layout sketching and pump house designing.
•Review the cold & hot water supply calculation, drainage water building and storm drainage system and condensate drainage pipe for AC, pipe sizing & requirements of water tanks & pump capacity and head losses calculations (Booster, Lifting, Submersible, Transformer) pumps, Electric water heater capacity according with SEC & IPC & UPC & ASPE & SBC codes.
•Preparation of Co-ordination drawings connecting all MEP works.
•Comments compliance, revisions and consultants follow up.
•Review shop drawings and Co-coordinating with site installation.
•Review materials submittal which is prepared by sub-contractors.
•Review schedule equipments for HVAC & Plumbing & Firefighting system.
•Coordination with other sub-contractors.
•Installation and Testing & Commissioning for HVAC & Plumbing & Firefighting Systems.
•Review fire alarm detectors drawings according to NFPA.
•Review HVAC Control Diagram according to SEC & ASHRAE.
•Review bill of quantities (BoQ) with procurement team.
•Coordinate & review dimensions of EOT Crane.
