- Develop and implement strategies that meet the purchasing needs.
- Investigate potential suppliers and recommends those most desirable.
- Review the tender documents (Drawings, Specification, and Bill of Quantities).
- Prepare shop drawings and other document. for all systems.
- Evaluate vendors proposals technically in compliance with project specifications in tabulated.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other related documents.
- Revise the costing for the post tender clarifications received and provide price and technical inputs to generate official Purchase Order.
- Evaluate the supplier quotations against the tender requirements such as capacity, quantity, specifications
- Ensure materials purchased are in line with the project specifications and industry practice.
- Site technical support whenever the site condition need.
- Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives
- Supervision and Follow up on the material submittal approval with the consultant and end-user and resubmit, if required, any commented material submittal with final approval.
