- Manage and control the MEP engineering team and MEP subcontractors At Red Sea Week Project.
- Plan and manage the execution of MEP construction works at the site.

Manage all commissioning activities at the project including the following responsibilities:
• Site Survey and issuance of Site Report / Equipment List
• Develop of Commissioning Plan
• Develop of Method Statement , Operation Manuals and SPDP
• Issuance of Issues Log file
• Coordination with Consultant, Supplier and subcontractor for Commissioning activities process and approvals
• Coordination with Supplier and subcontractor for mechanical and electrical systems start-up
• Coordinate with concerned entities and personnel for sequence of operation development and systems operation
• Manage the Commissioning activities in coordination with suppliers, Subcontractors and QC team
• Execute dedicated Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities
• manage test package submission and coordinate with consultant for approval
• Manage the Handing over of Systems in coordination with Construction team, engineering team, subcontractor, QC and client

• Responsible of all commissioning activities in the Project including and not limited to HVAC systems, Plumbing, Firefighting, RO Plant, Water Treatment, Generators, LV systems, BMS, GRMS, Fire Alarm, CCTV …
• Responsible for functionally developing, managing and delivering the means and methods of the commissioning execution strategy, schedule and cost.
• Worked closely with the Contractors, vendors, and suppliers to resolve any technical problems.
• Worked closely with various stakeholders, including Project Manager, Engineering managers, and the construction team to provide subject-matter expert advice and leadership.
• Led & directed all commissioning activity for the project including the lead staff position responsible for and directing all commissioning activities at the site.

• Assigned by the higher management to the be the focal person in directing and coordinating between different project disciplines
• Successfully Led both the construction and commissioning team to deliver operational 5-star Hotel and 66 villas in a 1-month period before the royal visit. (The work comprised installation and startup of 28 Air Handling Unit, 249 Fan Coil unit, 25 Exhaust fans, Chilled water flushing and balancing, Guest room management system configuration…)

Endorsed by Saudi Aramco Management to be reassigned in the project with the new main contractor (Saudi Arabian Baytur) to lead the remaining commissioning activity and to direct and supervise the Testing and Air balancing agency in order to hand over the iconic building to the client.

• Led a team of 7 site commissioning engineers to finalize the remaining startup and pre-commissioning activities for all electro-mechanical system in the project.
• Developed detailed snag list for remaining works to be done in order to hand over each buildings of the project.
• Assigned to lead various sub-contractors, to supervise and schedule their activities each one in his area and domain.
• Participated in daily and weekly meeting with Client, vendors and sub-contractor to monitor the construction and commissioning progress and to resolve any technical problems.
• Planned and Prepared detailed work schedule for all commissioning activity, and exception item list closing and coordinating the work between various disciplines in construction and commissioning.
• Managed the air and water balancing activity, supervised their work, verified their report, and made sure the work progress is as per schedule.

• Dealt with the subcontractor’s contracts and verified their monthly invoices before escalating it to the accounting department

• Led meetings with Saudi ARAMCO high management and played a key role in closing many exception item list which were holding the handover of some areas in the project.
• Troubleshooted and Solved many design issues which were holding some HVAC system to achieve its design criteria (Smoke Exhaust fans in Library, Stair Pressurization Fans …)
• Provided to Baytur an extra amount of 850 Thousand USD by invoicing the extra work done by the commissioning team and which was out of scope.
• Awarded Appreciation Letter from ARAMCO management for work in the Project

Assigned from Saudi Arabian Baytur Project Director to lead a business trip with a team of engineers to Makkah to check the site Progress in Jabal Omar Development Project, and to evaluate its readiness to start the commissioning activity in the project. I was also responsible to provide accommodation and offices for the commissioning crew.

• Held meetings with various stakeholders, including JODP Project Director, MEP manager, QC manager and construction team.
• Prepared a detailed Equipment list for the project (150 AHUs, 2899 FCUs…) and initiated the work on it with the Quality Control team to input the delivery and installation status.
• Generated a detailed report about the project status and escalated it to Baytur Higher management.
I was recalled back to KACWC to supervise the handing over of the project.

Assigned with the team to administrate the issuance of method statements of all MEP system in the project and to supervise the construction and commissioning work on site as it was a rush project in a very restricted area.

• Dealt with the vendors and suppliers to issue method statement and test package for their system
• Participated in meetings with Al Bawani management to accelerate the work progress on site
• Prepared detailed reports about the site progress and issued a snag list for the items to be considered and solved to ease the work
• Generated test reports for all MEP systems on site
• Supervised the construction and commissioning team on site

Initially assigned to administrate the issuance of method statements and test packages of the mechanical systems in the project. Quickly promoted to manage and supervise the construction progress of all electro-mechanical systems on site. Charged with the Start-up and operation of all mechanical equipments in the project: Air Handling unit, Chilled Water Pumps, Pressurization units, Close Control Units, Fan Coil Units, Ventilation Systems Firefighting pumps… Successfully Led the commissioning phase for main Electro-mechanical systems: (Firefighting and HVAC) in terms of Configuration, startup, performance test and sequence of operation. Played a key role in improving the construction and commissioning progress of mechanical and electrical systems from 20% to reach about 80% in a 10 months period, overcoming critical circumstances in term of finance and manpower.
• Secured efficient and professional relationship with client different departments (PMT, Proponent, FrPD…) to ease and guarantee the work progress on site.
• Actively participated in daily shutdown meetings and interpreted applicability of different management systems for ensuring ongoing construction and commissioning progress

• Designed and developed fuel oil transfer system feeding diesel engine driven firefighting pump
• Successfully performed the sequence of operation of the Firefighting system
• Modified and Successfully performed the sequence of operation of Smoke Control System in the museum and Library sections
• Received an award letter from Aramco high management for being the key person to activate the Air conditioning system in the tower in a 2 weeks period of hard work.

Issued MEP drawings for the project including design of potable water system, drainage system, rain water and irrigation system. The work also included the design, calculation and selection of the heating and ventilation system.

• Ensured that all civil obstructions have been cleared to MEP contractor to proceed with MEP activities.
• Engaged with authority at beginning of project to insure that all temporary utilities (power and water) are provided on time and did the same with closing out of project to ensure disconnection of utility services.
