Direct and control electrical engineering projects to ensure that they are completed to the standards required within agreed timescales and to the agreed budget level.
Lead electrical projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
Provide technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for the successful implementation of project activities.
Define, plan, and coordinate work teams including coordinating the activities of cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.
Define project stages and the objectives and costs associated with each stage. Identify the resources required at each project stage to meet project objectives and negotiate the release of these resources with operational managers.
Ensure to make decisions related to electrical engineering principles applied to operation problems and requirements proposed.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the project’s electrical requirements
Develop and review complex electrical project calculations.
Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance O&M among all sites from both technical & managerial aspects.
Conduct acceptance tests (SAT/FAT) and approval of project documentation i.e. As-built drawings, reports & Manuals, etc.
Maintain regular contact with operational managers and external contractors to define the scope of projects and the resulting implementation plans.
Analyze project progress and make changes to scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project stays on track.
Monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluate progress and quality, and manage the issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken.
Manage assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and overall project ownership.
Responsible for the successful completion of assigned electrical engineering scope and conformance to contract requirements.
Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate the technical and management electrical aspects of projects within the assigned engineering scope.
Responsible for both the quality of deliverables and the effective execution of project assignments.
Participate in project electrical work plan development. Prepare BOQ and project executions.
Implement the Testing and Commissioning Program for the Electrical Discipline. Supervise all on-site activities including subcontractors, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during the project to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Lead, direct and monitor the performance of all site workers.
Ensure that all activities are carried out by subcontractors and workers in accordance with the company’s HSE&Q policies and procedures.
