Key Projects Handled Under Khurais Project Department:
• April 2009 - Present: BI-10-03452-0002080 Project Khurais Crude Contract.
• Mar 2008: BI-10-03452-0003080 Shadgam Downstream Gas Pipeline.
• Dec 2008 - Feb 2009: BI-10-03452-0003080 Project -Khurais Gas Contract (KGC).
• Dec 2007 - Nov 2008: BI-10-03451-0001080 Project, Qurayyah.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning, scheduling and providing work direction for Delta V Emerson & Yokogawa Systems and supporting the implementation of DCS.
• Steering all pre-commissioning (cold check) and commissioning (hot check) operations as well as testing connections between the instrument and DCS as per set standards.
• Analyzing and evaluating all data pertinent to problems and assuring the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall project objectives.
• Evaluating data as to scope, effect on existing installations, economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations for all projects for improvement of existing facilities and standardization within the broad field of endeavour.
• Liaising with Triplex System Inc. for the effective implementation of Emergency Shutdown System to minimize the consequences of emergency situations and ensure high Safety Integrity Level.
• Performing Site Acceptance Tests to determine whether a system satisfies its acceptance criteria and is as per client requirements.
• Examining and comparing instrument segment diagrams, instrument loop diagrams and piping & instrument diagrams with standard designs to demonstrate the physical sequence of equipment and systems.
• Conducting cable meggering and fiber optic wire tests prior to installation to detect faults such as internal short circuits and execute requisite actions for resolving them.
• Calibrating and testing instruments such as Transmitter (Flow/Level/Pressure), Control Valve, On/Off Valves, Motor Operate Valve (MOV) and Temperature Elements to ensure perfection from accuracy standpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managed overall help-desk operations of the IT Department/ Shaybah IT unit, acted as a central point of contact for resolution of all network/ software issues as well as malfunctions in video conferencing equipments.
• Administered systems networks including installation, maintenance and repair. Analyzed, determined and specified system requirements to assure performance and integration with other systems.
• Recommended upgrades, patches, and new applications/equipment, and troubleshot network performance issues. Provided support for the fiber optic communication network between Abqaiq and Shaybah areas.
• Extended technical support and guidance to users, to ensure smooth operation of communication networks and systems in order to provide maximum performance and availability to the users.
• Maintained a spectral server to keep a record of all conference call meetings in Shaybah Area.
• Kept abreast of latest technological advancements and utilized the potentials of the same in order to respond to distinctive needs of the organization.

• Executed an array of tasks associated with installation and configuration of software, hardware and network systems for the customers.
• Tested and evaluated network systems to eliminate problems, conducted improvements, and escalated unresolved issues to senior engineers for timely solutions.
