• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
• Demonstrating solutions by developing layouts, code comments and clear code
• Performing UI design using XML layouts, and Android widgets
• Experienced with fragments, list views, view pager and recycler view
• Experienced with the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with Restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practice
• Experience with offline storage like SQLite, Shared preference, threading
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications with firebase
• Strong knowledge in databases and storage (Shared preferences, Content provider, Room SQlite)
• Ease to work with retrofit and all its companion components (Http client, Gson, Json, interceptors, convertors…plus php backend )
• Know how to configure and use Firebase components.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
