Main Duties
Coaching the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Laundry Manager, Public area Supervisors and Linen, uniforms room.
Maximum guest satisfaction.
Monitors housekeeping personal to ensure guests receive prompt, consistent and courteous service.
Management operation review, to ensure that all standards all applied.
Setting and implementing sequence of service and procedures to reach standards.
Ensuring that all the departmental procedures are consistently applied.
Ensure that communication is highly maintained with all the other hotel dep.
Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
Selecting, interviewing, hiring, according to the Company core competences
Developing staff through training and performance appraisals.
Ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
Identifies training needs, develops formal training plans and implements them. .
Schedules routine inspections by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and the other
Supervisors, of all housekeeping areas. That includes Occupied and non-occupied rooms.
inspects guest rooms and all Housekeeping areas on a regular basis to ensure that standards are met.
Ensure that all the dept. equipments are functional and in a good condition.
Refurbished as required. Makes recommendations to the General Manager or his/her delegate.
Maintains appropriate standards of dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance, posture
Conduct of departmental meetings for all the employees.
Ensure housekeeping personnel are familiar with I-house facilities for assisting guest and other dept. whenever a need arise.
Control and analyze, on an on-going basis, departmental costs to ensure performance in liaison with the room's budget.
Participates, Prepares the Housekeeping departmental budget.
Monitors and controls inventories for operating equipment, Linen and Uniforms to ensure par stocks are maintained and costs are controller.
Maintains a steady flow of communication to the General Manager or delegate and to other department’s heads.
Supervises outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
Implements and contractors housekeeping procedures including lost and found, key
Control, security and emergency procedures, health and safety for employees and guests.
Selecting linen and uniforms according to the company brand specification.
Selecting the cleaning chemicals that suit the environments and the nature of the Hotel furniture’s, grounds etc…
