Duties:
1-Responsible for the certification (type approval) of Cisco products in the Middle East,
GCC (CITC, TRA, SASO, ESMA, TRC), Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan (PTA) with main
focus on Product certification and active participation in Regulator forums and on-going
consultations.
2-Working with regulatory authorities to ensure the product is complying with the
necessary and mandatory requirements: Radio, EMC, Safety, Telecom, Energy Efficiency,
RoHS, Ecodesign regulations, and related certification procedures.
3-Familiar with the International standards: IEC, EN, ISO, ETSI, ITU, CISPR, UL, and
regional standards: GSO Regulation (G-Mark), SASO Regulation, and ESMA Regulation.
4-Working closely with the certification bodies for the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) &
PVoC programs (SASO\SABER, ECAS, TIR, COI...etc)
5-Support ME sales group and the local partners/distributors with the
customs/importation and understanding of regional product compliance standards and
laws.
6-Close collaboration with other Cisco departments such as Logistics, Tax, Export
Compliance or with external partners and/or customs agencies to help them of
understanding the import procedures and regulations.
7-Influence existing and upcoming regulations in the region in order to align with global practices while maintaining excellent ties with regional telecom regulators.
8-Regular meetings with the authorities and certification bodies including organizing
factory to build and maintain a strong relationship with those authorities.
9-Developing and maintaining Certifications Procedures for the Middle East, GCC,
Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan.
10- Leading internal projects on special new product initiatives and rework projects.
11- Influence existing and upcoming regulations in the region in order to align with global

Duties:1- Compliance Coordinator for Product Conformity Assessment Programs in
GCC.2-Working with regulatory authorities to ensure product is complying with the
necessary and mandatory requirements: GSO Regulation (G-Mark), SASO Regulation
and Energy Efficiency Regulation for electrical appliances, lamps and tyres.3- Assist
Manufacturers/Exporters to meet and comply with GSO, SASO, Kuwaiti, Qatari and
International standards and to prepare/develop the conformity verification guidelines
documents and notify the clients with all updates in the GCC regulations.4-Responsible to
submit monthly key performance indicator (KPI) report for the GCC programs and
Perform audit on GCC files in the system and provide finding to Program
Manager.4- Review of discrepancies and evaluation of test reports in accordance with the
relevant national and international standards (ISO, IEC, EN, ASTM, SASO and GSO
standards).5-Responding to technical queries from country offices, registrations/license
offices, exporters, importers and laboratories for KSA, Kuwait and Qatar conformity
assessment programs in consulting with the program manager. 6-Meetings with exporters
and manufacturers as required, Submitting the minutes of the meeting to the program
manager and follow up on action points. 7-Developing and maintaining Standard
Operational Procedures for KSA, Kuwait and Qatar conformity assessment programs.
8-Preparation of presentation, Flowcharts and Flyers.9- Conduct factory audit for
lubricating oil manufactures according to PAI (Kuwait Public Authority for Industry)
guidelines. 8-Internal Auditor to following ISO standards: ISO 17020:2012, ISO
17025:2005, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17065:2012

Duties:1-Assess product and/or exporter risk levels, identification of product essential
requirements and applicable standards following the Business Rules on conformity
assessment, classification, import eligibility and process flows, Conformity Assessment
Instructions (CAIs), and other related references.2- Checking and approve the conformity
documents (test reports, quality certificates, analysis reports…etc) 3- Evaluating the feedback of the inspection and take the final decisions.4- Responsible for the auditing of
external and internal laboratories to ensure that testing procedures are applied
accurately 5- Responsible for helping traders to find accredited laboratories, applicable
standards, and easy procedures to facilitate the process of having the certificate of
conformity for their goods 6- Responsible for the issuance of Certificate of Conformity for
Cosmetics, Chemicals, Electronics, Kitchenware, toys, Clothes, and other products
exported to Iraq in accordance with Iraqi standards and international
standards7-Industrial standardization concepts including international standards /
