The Role and Responsibilities of the Executive Secretary according to Bye Laws of JPC-MSLCP
1. To manage the orderly work in the office and to Ensure that the regular and disciplined work is done for the efficient functioning of the office and take a special care regarding confidentiality.
2. To evaluate the performance of the office staff and the regional coordinators and report to the Chairperson JPC.
3 To chair and facilitate the office meetings, which will take place at least once a month to enable the smooth running of all office affairs and to maintain progress.
4. To present, along with the chairperson, an annual report to the major superiors at their annual general meeting
5. Any matters of conflict will be referred to the chairperson if they cannot be resolved at the meetings.
6. Any serious problem should be referred to the Managing Board.
7. The executive secretary and the Chairperson will be responsible for all the property, movable and immovable that is on the premises.
8. To strengthen the networking with other likeminded NGOs and organizations.
9. To represent the JPC at national and international forums.
10. If invited for an international meeting abroad MSLCP be informed and permission be Sought and report to be presented to the Managing Board and to be included in the annual report.
11. He is responsible for the quality of all publications. To be co-signatory with the member of Managing Board along with the treasurer on the bank accounts of the commission
12. To sign the Job contract with the employees of the commission along with the chairperson in consultation with Managing Board.
13. To sanction leave for the National and Regional Staff.
14. To be co-signatory with the member of the Managing Board along with the Chairperson on the Organizational bank accounts (JPC-MSLCP)”

5 Union on Brick kiln labour are registered, got CBA letters and one of it got Membership of Worker’s Welfare Board and Social Security Cards department.
