To be able to deal politely and courteously with the guest an offer assistance whenever they require.
To maintain standards of services all the time under any circumstances.
To be able to create an excellent work relationship with all the staff of the Front Office in general with other employees of the hotel.
To be able to work in high occupancy with morale, long hours and take decisions within limit.
Greet and conduct business with guests according to standards.
To be fully familiar with all the standards and procedures enabling him to serve guest in an efficient and prompt manner.
To be fully familiar with all the areas of the hotel.
Use proper telephone etiquette.
To maintain log book for any minor or major complaint from the guest.
Assist the guest for his/her needs to make trip, transportation, eating out airline confirmation etc.
Up sell apartment whenever possible to increase revenue.
To be familiar with filing system for reservation, reception and cashier.
To update the guest profile and do the proper registration by receiving his/her complete detail including marriage certificate for all local and Arabs.
To check and handle daily departure list in accordance with local policy and procedure.
To organize the pre-registration for the groups/VIP's and regular guests.
To maintain the guest account in a current state of accuracy and readiness. Ensure all cash and credit policies are followed.
To wear proper uniform with name tag and has a positive towards his job. Groom well and is always punctual at work. Carries out other duties hat may be organize by immediate supervisor / Manager.
To prepare and balance cash report and remittance sheet at the end of the shift.
To control master key / card and maintain a log book.
