Role: Responsible for managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities within the Power Generator rental segment.
Responsibilities:
• Managing assigned accounts and maintain continued sales growth.
• Look for ‘blue ocean’ areas that the company can target and move into.
• Develop and help execute marketing strategies for the business in coordination with Senior Management.
• Spend 75% of day in front of current and prospective customers.
• Oversee the billing of accounts to ensure accuracy and ease of payment.
Key Accomplishments:
• Driven a 16% increase in revenue over 5 months for the business.
• Acquired 90% of revenue growth through new customer acquisitions.
• Developed revenue streams in previously non targeted industries, including Fitness Clubs.
Role: Responsible for the introduction, development and execution of internal programmes and projects within the Manlift Group.
Responsibilities:
• Creating and driving new initiatives to improve the way Manlift offers the best customer service in its industry.
• Attend and manage Manlift Way events within the organisation.
• Develop and introduce new commercially viable products to the rental fleet.
• Drive a ‘Reach-Out’ campaign to open up new revenue streams for the rental business in UAE and Qatar.
Key Accomplishments:
• Execution of a thorough business plan for a new line of products and a successful pitch to the Board of
Directors resulting in the purchase of an initial order.
• Building and leading a strong cross-functional team resulting in improved internal communication,
teamwork and the end result of new machines arriving in Dubai.
• The introduction and management of the Manlift Road Tip initiative within Dubai and Qatar creating over
243 leads in its first year in operation and generating over $65, 000 in revenue.
Role: Responsible for the accounts receivable operation of the group within UAE and Qatar. Managing a regional team to drive real cash flow into four very fast moving companies.
Responsibilities:
• Managing collection, invoicing and credit teams in UAE and Qatar.
• Analysing risk within the group’s customer list.
• Liaise with top customers from the entry level till the end of the contract, while maintaining a positive
relationship throughout, resulting in on-time payments.
Key Accomplishments:
• Successful management of accounts receivables for four companies across two countries with total group
turnover of over USD 15.8m per year.
• Settlement of over 500 overdue accounts.
Role: Responsible for the day to day management of Absolute Events in the City of Durham.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the budgeting, payment, and cash flow management of the business.
• Accountable for the running of five weekly nightlife events, including the organisation of promotional
teams, door staff, musicians, dancers and management teams.
• Managing a flexible workforce of over 70 staff.
Key Accomplishments:
• Achieving over £1, 200 average net profit per week and weekly event attendance of over 2, 000 people.
• Achieving the most profitable City within the companies 5 city UK network.
