With a prime emphasis on the design, development, and deployment of the campus website, www.ucalgary.edu.qa and the
development and management of UCQ campus social media networks, this position has grown to include the following responsibilities:
• Supervision and approval of all creative work from the UCQ Public Affairs department
• Design, front and back end development, maintenance and management of the UCQ website,
www.ucalgary.edu.qa.
• Development and management of all official UCQ social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
and LinkedIn
• Layout design of major UCQ bilingual (English, Arabic) publications including “UCQ Viewbook” and Student Agendas
• Concept design, graphic design and implementation of coordinated, print and digital advertising campaigns
• English language communications and media relations
• Written content creation for UCQ website and publications
• Campus photography including events, sporting matches and portrait photography
• Event coordination and collateral design for major events such as UCQ Convocation and UCQ Open House
Focused primarily on the creation of strategic, muti-faceted communication plans within a change management framework targeting a variety of audiences/stakeholders (students, faculty, staff, executive, community) throughout the university structure, this position
included them anagement, redesign, redeployment and management of several high-level university websites such as the Human Resources, Finance, Careers and Finance & Services Intranet (link unavailable) site.
Embedded within the School of Business this position involved the redevelopment of the student and staff focused School of Business
intranet (sb.sait.ca), development of material for the main campus internet (www.sait.ca), the development and management of the
School of Business social media networks and the creation of communication plans targeting faculty, staff and student audiences.
