I'm the responsible for the projects department, the major responsibilities are:
1- managing the project engineer duties and schedule, also organizing the portieres.
2- determining the needed manpower for projects on hand.
3- finalizing contracts with subcontractors.
4- following projects engineers activities and productivity.
5- attending meetings with end users and costumers before and after sales.
I also do supervise some of the major projects personally, support the engineers when needed onsite follow with sales department and maintenance regarding any ongoing project or maintenance issues.
Working as projects engineer in MMR, MMR are specialized in computer and data center designing and building which includes installing data center infrastructures which include high procession A/C, UPS systems, rectifiers, standby synchronized generators, fire alarm and fire fighting systems, LV switch-gear panels and load shading panels and several other monitoring systems in addition to electromechanical works
Responsibilities:
1- Site surveying, time planning, designing and preparing shop drawings.
2- Installation of the data centers equipment.
3- Testing and commissioning for the installed equipment.
4- Troubleshooting and corrective maintenance for electrical system (UPS, Rectifiers and Generators)
Mechatronics is the merge of electric, mechanical and modern control system, thus i studied electric and electronics systems, mechanical system (major in motion applications more than thermal one), computer and control systems (both conventional and digital). the major courses focused on were: 1. Industrial Automation and Processes control 2. Measurements, Sensors and Transducers 3. Power Semiconductor Drive 4. Pneumatics and Hydraulics Drive 5. Power Electronics 6. Computer Numerical Controlled Machines (CNC) and CAD/CAM Systems 7. Machines Components and Mechanism My thesis was about "Four Legged Robot", and as part of my Bachelor Degree, I have been trained for 3 months in Control Panels Installation for lifts and troubleshooting lift errors.
