• Responsible for all electrical and instrumentation installation activities (electrical works includes installation of M.V drives & different types of instruments) on site and following the progress of work in accordance with the plan of the project.
• Monitor and ensure ore-construction project activities (material submittals and drawings) align with the project plan.
• Day-to day site management, including supervising and monitoring the internal and outsourced site workforce.
• Validate & check design plans, drawings, quantities, and calculation accuracy to ensure design compatibility during construction work.
• Active participation and supervision of testing & commissioning activities. Coordination & supervising commissioning activities.
• Monitoring and controlling the progress of construction activities, addressing any issues that may arise to maintain project efficiency.
• Assist in the estimation, preparation & submission of project claims. Preparing monthly progress reports with payments, managing construction budgeting,
• Attending site visits for different maintenance projects at the plant and making the required project pricing as well as submission of offers to the client.
• Responsible all electrical activities on site and following the progress of work in accordance with the plan of the project.
• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Handling all pre-commissioning & commissioning activities which include belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, ship loaders, & different ELV systems (CCTV, Fire, VOIP, & BMS)
• Estimate costs and materials needed for the project.
• Manage the ordering of materials and equipment needed for the project.
• Provide timely and accurate project updates to senior management and clients.
• Prepare Project documents, contracts, Budgets, and reports as required.
• Supervising and monitoring electrical & instrument installations and operations for belt conveyors, ship loaders, ship unloaders, equipment' installations, & all L.V systems on site to consistently meet rigorous customer requirements.
• Responsible for material procurement and control of subcontractors on site, within budget, to the highest quality and safety standards and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Quality Inspections and completion of Inspection and Test Plans.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing safe systems of work for electrical site activities, including risk assessments and method of statements and impact/contingency plans.
• Coordination and following up site activities with the main contractor on daily basis.
• Execution of corrective action plans to mitigate unnecessary delays.
• Ensure material requisitions are submitted with enough time to allow the project’ they are involved with to progress without any delays.
• Dealing with changes to the project as and when necessary.
• Collation of documents and As Built Records
• Responsible for all aspects related to project quality assurance and quality control. Controlling all inspection activities on site and ensuring they are implemented according to the contract requirements.
• Verify work is in place according to drawing and specifications.
• Work with Superintendent(s) to ensure that all inspections are properly performed and completed, and documentation is properly filed.
• Notify management of any discrepancies found. Monitor the performance of all control activities and tests on electrical systems.
• Identify and raise NCR as and when required. Actively participates in the implementation of improvement projects.
• Completion of necessary documentation to the verify the work performed.
• Monitoring all activities being carried out by the subcontractor, very closely and ensuring the workmanship and quality at every stage.
• Ensuring that all work is completed without comprise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• Attending weekly progress meeting and generate status reports for the Engineering/Project Manager.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of subcontractors.
• Coordination between electrical, civil, and mechanical subcontractors.
• Checking the availability and quantities of materials in store and making purchase orders.
• Supervising all electrical systems installations (cable management systems, lighting system, CCTV system, data system, installation of Bus Duct, testing and termination of cables, installation of LVSG, MVSG, LV panels, transformers and generators)
• Plan and schedule of all construction activities within the project time frame.
• Review of shop drawings / IFC drawings / Schematic and confirm execution to be as per the drawings. Forecast in advance of critical tasks / material requirements to avoid delays.
• Develop periodical progress report (weekly and monthly basis).
• Initiate any material PR needed for site including a clear technical specification/ characteristic item.
• Develop of red markup drawings modification as per site requirement for As Built Drawings.
