Responsible for Developing the company branches in middle east.
My main duties is to set standard operations manual for each company branch in middle east, starting from the UAE branch. My job includes understanding the current procedures and studying the local intellectual property laws and regulations, and then to write a hand on procedures manual for all operations and responsibilities.
I’m also responsible for all paralegal operations for the company branch in Dubai - UAE in all intellectual property sectors: patent, trademarks, and industrial designs.
Financial and ERP Consultant
I was selected by Spark, a foundation from the Netherlands, to manage its project in Libya for limited time duration of 5 months. The project is to establish and operate a business entrepreneurship center in Benghazi-Libya; it was funded and managed by the UK Aid. The project was started in January 2013 and supposed to end in February 2014, my duties in the project started from 1st of October 2013 to lead the project to successful results and reach the targets set by the sponsor, by the following activities:
• Supervising the overall project planning and execution on the ground;
• Coordinating the managing stakeholders relations;
• Supervising BEC daily operations, managing relations with local partners;
• Building and managing relations with international and national financial institutions, banks, and potential investors;
• Managing operational relations with donors, international actors active in Libya, and relevant national organizations;
• Providing Business Skills Training and coaching to project beneficiaries.
Major Accomplishments:
• Setup and establishment of the Business Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) in Benghazi - Libya.
• Certify local trainers in spark business skills training modules and adapt the training materials to local consent.
• Train and support 75 entrepreneurs from different economic sectors on spark business skills modules. The winning 75 entrepreneurs were selected through business plan competitions.
• Train and support 40 existing small and medium organizations on business growth and how to plan for it. The winning 40 SMEs were also selected through business growth competitions.
• Presented a business coaching for successful entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Established the company from the beginning, managing all its operations, opening markets, developing products and customers portfolio with a well trained team of consultants and employees.
the following are major accomplishments:
Increasing the company revenue in the last year to $500, 000, in a growth rate of about 150% per year.
Establishing successful implementations using the following two different applications and technologies:
1. Oracle E-Business Suite
2. Microsoft SharePoint
Having a selective number of satisfied and loyal customers in different business sectors like: Utilities, Government, and Commercial sector.
Making partnerships with International solution providers like: Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP.
Building a team of high experienced and skilful employees.
The ERP term stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. ERP is a suite of applications including financials, supply chain, manufacturing, human resources and other modules, that together automate the back-office business administration functions of an enterprise. The ERP consultant is responsible for providing the proper financial and business consultancy with best practical solutions for clients by analyzing their special requirements. The ERP consultant set aside in team work with the client team for a day-to-day basis, interact with the client management team, taking care of all change management and business reengineering issues, and implement the ERP solution; to full-fill client's requirements.
Building a team of professionals which have served a large and different portfolio of clients, in small and medium enterprises in different business sectors.
Establishing a set of procedures in implementing an in-house developed ERP solution. The procedures include business analysis, implementation, customer care, and business development.
Managing the team tactics and quality of client service.
