Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direction and leadership to PMO activities including monitoring and utilization of resources, and mentor the staff.
• Develop policies, project management plans and risk management plans for the PMO.

• Organize and coordinate risk workshops for identification, definition and agreeing on key risks through qualitative and quantitative risk analysis using Palisade @RISK and Primavera Risk Analysis.
• Direct all activities related to cost estimations of projects, capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) cash flows and contingency drawdown plans, project technical proposals and reviews of contractor’s interim payment applications.
• Coordinate the review and approval of Contractor’s Project Execution Plan (PEP), Construction Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (CEMMP), Contractor’s Interface Management Plan and the Contractor’s Subcontracting and Mobilization Plan.
• Review Project Document Control Schedule and participate in project constructability reviews and safety studies including HAZOP, HAZID and SIL and incident investigations including Root Cause Analysis for corrective and preventive action plans.
• Deal with administration from tendering stage up to contract award stage. This includes preparation of Invitation to Bid documents, pre-tender meetings, facilitating bidders’ conferences, tender evaluation and recommendation of award of contracts.
• Serve as a member of contract finalizing committees for preparation of contracts; coordinate signing of contracts and advice the client on contract risks and issues.
• Liaise with stakeholders on issues related to contract administration, negotiation and resolution of claims and disputes, contract interpretation, review and approval of interim payments, contingency drawdown and project closeout, and project defect liability.
• Support the engineering department in preparation of project specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations and tender commercial clarifications, vendor and interdisciplinary coordination and HAZOP studies

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitored and controlled the construction of the Dubai Metro Green Line section including the Station Context section.
• Produced an integrated plan by reviewing and analysing Level 3 schedules submitted by subcontractors.
• Developed and maintained the Project Master Construction Schedule ensuring accurate and on time updates.
• Prepared Level 4 (L4) schedules, progress S-curves, manpower histograms and quantity histograms using Primavera.
• Prepared, integrated and circulated project and plant change schedules from high level up to detailed schedules enabling setting of realistic targets for on time completion of project and plant changes.
• Tracked and measured actual performance against schedules, evaluated variances and prepared recovery plans to achieve predefined milestones.
