• Methodically lead the inspections, breakdown & preventive maintenance for various plant equipment as well as systems as per organisational standards, best practices and codes. Supervise a team of technicians for major jobs. Effectively troubleshoot gas turbines and pumps & compressors in pursuit of operational efficiency.
• Ensure optimal health of gas turbines through active performing of gas turbines 8000 hrs of hot part inspection and participation in vendor overhauls. Timely identify and effective repair malfunctioning components. Oversee the installation of devices and actively monitor as well as methodically calibrate them as required.
• Leverage in-depth understanding of mechanical & instrumental drawings to effectively conduct mechanical alignments, pump & compressor rotor balancing as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems repairs.
• Keep senior management abreast with work progress through periodic job reports. Accurately identify the training requirements of new employee and lead the training & development sessions.
• Rendered expertise through active participation in vendor overhauls and breakdown maintenance. Led the 8000 hrs hot part inspection and preventive maintenance assuring uninterrupted plant operations.
• Initiated repairs for the Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems while strictly adhering to HSE policies, rules & regulations. Enforced control over all incoming & outgoing spare parts, components and consumables ensuring reduced material wastage, timely material supply and optimal inventory levels.
• Critically analysed impeding issues and designed highly effective solution for equipment troubleshooting. Periodically broke down, overhauled and initiated preventive maintenance for seamless plant operations.
• Utilized in-depth understanding of mechanical as well as instrumentation diagrams & drawings to lead all operations for installation, dismantling and repair of rotary machinery; mechanical alignments and pumps, compressors & electric-motor rotors balancing.
