Work Description :
• Provide, maintain and expand IT services to meet UNRWA business needs such as (E-mail, Internet, Telephone…etc.)
• In house development and management of new application
• Manage, enhance and control the use of ICT Hardware and Software’s LFO
• Expand, Install and manages the telecommunication infrastructure (WAN, LAN, telephone Network) at all LFO sites.
• Protect UNRWA data and network facilities internal and external risks.
• Provide help desk functions to all UNRWA ICT equipment’s users
• Train LFO staff members to enhance their knowledge of IT software packages and technologies.
• Manage all ICT services at schools, health centers, and Camp service offices at LFO remote sites
• Monitor the operations and performance of computer hardware and software systems.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of ICT equipment’s, software, supplies and accessories. Also ensures that adequate
• Configuring new desktops, laptops, printers, faxes and projectors.
• Managing IT inventory and maintaining the availability of frequently used items.
• Applications troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting and supporting network environments.
• Maintain and organize the IT unit files.
• Provide support in preparing the IT procurement.
• Participate in the IT tenders evaluation process.
• Update daily support and maintenance status reports.
• Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on staff computers.
• Perform system upgrades as necessary for software and hardware related components as needed.
• Perform, monitor and control asset (hardware and software) inventory and equipment, in addition to any additional IT-related task assigned by the IT Manager.
• Analyzing the request for new software customization, follow up on new purchased software and implementations.
• Providing support Windows XP/7/8, PC technology and Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010.
• Install and perform repairs to software applications following design or installation specifications.
• Determine the appropriate software according to the set Plans and visions of PRCS
