• Identify the roadmap for project development milestones in proportion to the requirements of the funding process.
• Review and study all documents, licenses and technical data related to the project.
• Guarantee/Secure the project funding through my network. The project CAPEX is set to be around $ 99 million.
• Prepare & review the project’s risk assessment matrix, energy calculations, financial indices, forecasted revenue & cashflows.
• Reprice the BOQ and optimize the project’s CAPEX, IRR, ROI and NPV.
• Negotiate the financing terms, conditions & structure with the proposed financier.
• Lead presentations, meetings and dialogue with the proposed funding party. In addition to organize and facilitate discussions between the parties involved.
• Provide technical advice and assessment to be aligned with the approval of funding.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the investor/lender.
• Create new projects that align with the country’s needs & vision. Mainly developed a scheme of 110 MW hydro Power run-on river/feasibility study stage/Njombe region, in addition to another 180 MW solar project in the pipeline.
• Maintain trust-based relations within the company and with partners & authorities.
• Develop and maintain strategic relations with members of the federal state, and local government entities, and agencies.
• Oversee project development stages including technical and financial paperwork.
• Contribute in the project development milestones including design, engineering, BoM, histogram & pricing.
• Research and monitor East African governments activities that could impact the company's activities and position.
• Assessing the feasibility of potential opportunities based on project status, financial data and market conditions.
• Develop & implement a successful market entry strategy for east Africa.
• Collaborate with various teams to navigate the challenges & operational complexities
• Advise senior management about known and potential regulatory activities related to the business and energy industry in the territory.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with Tanzania government officials, entities and agencies.
• Represent the company in industry events and collaborate with industry leaders.
• Control and lead the required ground activities in Tanzania.
• Assist in technical preliminary studies and submittals
• Liaison with government entities to provide legislative and public policy changes to support company operations in the territory.
• Meeting & coordinating with all raw materials & chemical suppliers e.g. (Tailings, Cyanide, Lime, Carbon, Laboratories, Water, Diesel… etc.) and negotiating pricing terms and purchase agreements.
• Reviewing reports on production levels, equipment breakdowns, mine accidents, and other relevant data.
• Reviewing regulations, standards, and procedures to ensure they are followed at all times.
• Monitoring the environmental impact of mining operations on natural resources and taking steps to mitigate any negative impacts.
• Providing leadership and managerial skills to coordinate all operations at the mine site, including hiring and training workers, purchasing supplies, illusions and maintaining equipment.
• Managing a team of fifty employees, including technicians, operators, supervisors and foremen who oversee workers at the mine site.
• Conducting inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure that safety standards are being met.
• Ensuring the safety protocols for all employees in accordance with state regulations regarding mine safety.
• Approach & explain the new oil distribution tender and benefits of Total Jordan affiliate to gas stations owners.
• Represent Total Jordan in discussions with the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources related to the new government agreement and practices.
• Explain white products sales and support process to the clients.
• Prepare Supply fuel agreements and Customer Term Forms (CTFs).
• Follow up, conduct physical visits and manage the involvement & supply orders of 45 gas stations across Jordan in terms of compliance, order quantity & payment scheduling.
• Coordinate with transportation/fleet team to ensure timely delivery of oil to gas stations locations.
• Monitor the performance of the gas stations, provide new guidelines for the supply process.
• Assist customer service department in the management of clients’ issues.
• Develop and monitor implementation of learning programs
• Manage operations and protocols for internal teams, such as sales, promotors, web designers, social media specialists & other third parties like printing houses, advertising agencies, & service suppliers
• Instruct engineering courses (Operations Research, Project Management, Production Planning & Control)
• Work with marketing, sales, and service development teams to implement business development initiatives
• Measure and evaluate the organization's performance and develop new marketing ideas
