Working for GISTEC (Esri’s distributer) on the GIS different software’s and solutions. Responsible for the telecom projects, and work along with the technical team to facilitate the procedures and to assure the complete usage of Esri solution’s features by matching them with the different telecom parameters, concepts and needs.
Responsible for the Cellular Expert product; which is a GIS based powerful and comprehensive wireless network planning-optimization solution that facilitates efficient and accurate network planning in urban and rural areas.
Responsible for the overall Technical projects management function, providing leadership, coordination and management of the PMO processes and functions for major three verticals Telecom, RF & Civil OSP..
Duties:
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client and enforces project standards, Minimizes exposure and risk on project, Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, Developing, implementing and reporting on key performance indicators for the Project office., Manages project budget OSP, Telecom and RF Quality Assurance, Demonstrate Technical experience in FTTH infrastructure, Contribute in preparing potential projects and RFQs.
Working as a team leader for Umniah and Zain projects; responsible for two teams and dealing with two vendors (ZTE & HUAWEI):
-Dealing with different types of Huawei’s BTSs such as: BTS3200, BTS320, Micro BTS3002, Micro BTS3006… for the 2G projects.
-Dealing with Huawei’s 3900 BTSs, especially for the last 3G project with Zain.
- Wide knowledge in trouble shooting the MW link issues; came out from dealing with different types of the MW products such as: Passolink, RTN …, configuring the modems using several kinds of the software’s especially Huawei’s U2000 software; for the last 3G project with Zain.
I dealt with the Electrical department at Umniah, and handled the construction projects for the GSM sites starting from the site surveying (draft visit) reaching to the Final Acceptance visit (FAT); and this is including and not limited to:
-Dealing with subcontractors with different specifications depending on the scope of works needs (SOW).
- Distributing the priorities of the work; to be finished within the deadlines of the project; this is usually 3 days, including the implementation of the followings:
-Fire System.
- Lighting System (including the tower lights and the shelter lights).
- Earth System.
- A/C system.
Working on the telecommunication projects as a field engineer, setting up new sites from A to Z, including and not limited to:
- Dealing with important vendors such as HUAWEI and ZTE.
- Dealing with the PNMT monitoring program for the NEC link.
- Connecting antennas with their azimuth angles measurements.
- Dealing with different kinds of telecommunication connections from tower tops to the device shelters such as coaxial or fiber optic cables.
- Experience with power connections between the devices inside the shelters starting from the main AC box to rectifier reaching the fuse panel.
