The power plant was in the final stages of commissioning when I joined the team. We were working on commissioning tasks such as:
1. observing cold loops, hot loops, on-site system testing, and power plant start-up.
2. reviewing logic diagrams and P&IDs.
3. completion of RFIs (request for inspection) and punch lists.

I also acquired a good knowledge of:
1. OT network, DCS (based on GE Mark VIe controllers), DCS hardware components (controllers, switches, servers (control, PI historians)), and DCS management software.
2. actuator systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, etc.) and their (digital and analog) components such as valves, pumps, etc.
3. various types of sensors (digital and analog) such as heat, pressure, flow, position, level, and vibration sensors.
4. Many PLC systems such as (SIEMENS, EMERSON, etc.).
5. 7GA gas turbines, GE D-11 steam turbines, and DOOSAN HRSG (heat recovery steam generator).
