- Managing all procurement activities including RFQ, reviewing deliveries, tracking status of all orders.
- Researching for potential vendors, evaluating existing ones and comparing offers.
- Negotiating new contracts, prices and quotations to help requisitioners budgeting needed items and to achieve cost saving.
- Arranging and following up all logistics & warehousing related activities.
- Maintaining close liaison with Sales to ensure that orders are placed and delivered.
- Keeping an eye on any potential claims, accidents or incident in products and keeping such issues from happening and providing a full report to top management.
- Identifing and addressing any saving potentials.
- Reviewing and confirming all related invoices ( customs, trucking, …etc ).
- Responsible for all logistics, communication and tracking of shipments from receiving PO ( in case of import ) or invoice ( in case of export ) till delivery.
- Initiating operational contacts with freight forwarders and different shipping lines to organize and coordinate the handling of goods to be shipped.
- Determining method of shipments and preparing needed documents of all shipments.
- Arranging and following up all operations such as shipping, customs and trucking.
- Liaising with all parties included in my shipments until products reach their final destination without any delay, lost items or demurrage.
- Reviewing and confirming all related invoices ( customs, trucking, …etc ).
- Processing purchase requisitions into purchase orders and send to foreign and local suppliers in a timely manner and maintaining a record of all the orders.
- Managing all procurement activities including RFXs and Auctions, reviewing deliveries, tracking status of all order and comparing items received to items ordered.
- Organizing receipt of materials, goods, supplies and services from supplier’s facilities with focus on accuracy, efficiency and time management.
- Researching for potential vendors, evaluating existing ones and comparing offers.

- Ensuring the integrity of import documentation.
- Ensuring that all vendors’ invoices are sent to accounting team and authorizing payments to be settled in agreed upon time with vendors.
- Gathering shipping lines and freight forwarders’ rates and negotiating to get the best freight / terms / conditions for our export team.
- Evaluating and processing claims made by both requisitioners and suppliers.
- Taking requisitioners’ feedback on quality matters and comprehending their needs.
- Organizing either the shipping or receipt of product or the preparation for delivery of product to / from clients’ facilities.
- Ensuring the integrity of import / export documentation.
- Following up and confirming the accuracy of any other necessary documents.
- Handling problems or any relevant issues as well as day-to-day concerns with warehouses capacity and clients’ deadlines.
- Monitoring entire process of cargo movement, organizing storage activities and orchestrating transportation movements until delivered to clients in a timely fashion.
- Administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping and quotations.
- Keeping proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s logistics.
