Collaborate with the upper management team to set quality benchmarks.
Identify quality control processes to insure criteria are met at all times.
Execute tests to check final product adherence to the company standards.
Brainstorm ideas to increase productivity and performance of production lines while maintaining accuracy in quality.
Make crucial decisions in favor of cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
Perform failure analyses to determine the cause of the problem and preventive measures.

Expedition, preparation, verification and issue of reports.
Make sure from storage each cast mechanical test results in the SAP system for traceability of products history.
Carryout routine Maintenance and calibration on testing and measuring equipment.
Record and report problems faced, break down or damages, spares & consumables required to my superior to ensure smooth functioning of testing activities.
Preparation of QC monthly report and customer complaint annual report.
Responsible for technical advice for consuming both SLOB and obsolete raw materials and FG products.
To put a plan and preventive actions to reduce customer complaints and eliminate repeated customer complaints.
Supervision of technicians, Chemists, and assistants involved in chemical testing activities.
To monitor QC inspectors to ensure follow up standard inspection procedures.
Perform and record tests on production samples from each cast to ensure compliance to the related specification.
Ensure to Test products to see that they meet performance specifications.
Work with the test materials to assess the equipment used to perform the tests.

Functional responsibility to ensure all testing procedures are carried out in accordance with required standards.

Store each cast mechanical test results in the system to enable printing of test certificates to customers.
Preserve the samples in case of any lap opening in bend test, bad steel and similar problems for inspection by Dept. Manager to take corrective measures.

To ensure streams are utilized effectively as per plan through adequate manpower allocation.
To cooperate with Maintenance to monitor the breakdowns of critical equipment on a regular basis so as to achieve uptimes > 97 % and also to ensure that other equipment too are maintained as per established standards of good housekeeping.
To achieve the objectives in the areas of 5S, Safety, Productivity, FLL and Effluent Treatment
To aim for a reduction of 10 % in AWDs, NCIP and QRIs over year after year.
To aim for 50 % Reduction in "Repeat" Customer Complaints, with specific focus on Packing and Packaging related complaints.
To monitor various parameters of plant performance in the area of Productivity (liters / hour), FLL etc.
To instill a culture of quality from the beginning-to-the-end of manufacturing process and aim for improvement in the relevant quality parameters like AWDs, NCIP and QRIs
To specifically target reduction in "Repeat" complaints esp. in Packing / Packaging through process improvements and orientation sessions for Workmen and Staff.
To ensure at least 2 significant Improvement Projects are completed during the year.
To aim for Productivity improvements by 15%.
To ensure system entries are correct and done as per the sequence given in the SOP.
To follow quality system procedures and ensure proper documentation.
Writing daily production report.
Printing the batch card and filing it in proper documentation.
All system entries include closing the batch card
To identify and study some manufacturing processes (Putties) in detail with the purpose of manpower rationalization.
To set up specific targets for productivity improvements (liters / man-hour).
