Business Objectives & Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP):
-Participate in the Departmental Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and lead the annual WFP component of the department
- Lead and manage the annual Workforce Planning by collaborating with the HOD and Head of Sections and ensure accurate and timely completion of the plan
Recruitment & Selection:
-Ensure smooth execution of annual workforce plan by aligning with the hiring manager, the Talent Acquisition and HRBP teams.
- Conduct panel interviews for potential candidates and follow up with the Talent Acquisition team on the hiring processes.
- Lead the onboarding of new joiners to ensure positive employee experience.
Learning & Development:
-Work with HOD to identify macro L&D needs for the department and agree on overall guidelines and key areas of focus based on the department key projects, deliverables, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with line managers, supervisors and team leaders to create the annual Learning Needs for the teams and share the plan with the L&D team along with the EDP data taken from the HRIS.
- Ensure smooth delivery of planned L&D innervations by aligning with HODs, L&D team, line managers; supervisors and employees.
-Share regular L&D reports with all stakeholders (Learning Plan Execution Report, Monthly L&D Report, Total Learning Hours Report (On-line))
Performance Management:
-Participated in the creation and digitation of the recent DAL Food PMS on the HRIS- Cascade.
- Deliver the DF PMS Awareness Sessions (Both English & Arabic) for the new joiners and existing employees.
- Develop timely audit and status reports on all HR activities (Performance Planning status, MYPR status, the completion rate in the final assessment) and share the reports with all stakeholders.
- Lead the completion of all PM phases on time and follow for the execution of performance actions (Employee Development Programs (EDP), Improvement Notes - PIN, Bonus Payment. Etc.)
Organizational Development and Effectiveness (OD & OE):
-Ensure the department has the right structure by aligning with the HOD and the OD team
- Lead & manage change interventions with the department with the support of the OD Projects team
- Ensure all roles have complete and updated job profiles that reflects actual role contribution.
Employee Experience & Employee wellbeing
-Work closely with line Management to improve work relationships, build morale, and positively impact productivity, retention and engagement
- Oversees the provision of HR services in line with policy guidelines to ensure employee satisfaction at optimal cost, time and quality
- Conduct/coordinate the conduction of surveys regarding workplace Satisfaction to enhance staff motivation
- Manage and resolve labor relation problems, grievances and legal cases

Leads, manages and develops DAL Food Operations Function regarding L&D from end-to-end; Identifies, plans, implement, follows up and measures the effectiveness of various Learning & Development interventions for DAL FOOD Operations Function - (3000 +) employees
Key Accountabilities:
DAL Food Operations Function L&D Management:
- Collaborate with the HODs and managers to identify the learning needs for DAL FOOD Operations Function (Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehousing, Technical, Logistics, HSE, MCC, Animal Feed QMS and Projects)
- Lead and manage the coordination between Training Vendors (Local and abroad), Business Units and the L&D team members to ensure smooth execution of the plans.
- Collaborate with the L&D Admin team and DAL Food Finance team to ensure timely payment of the vendors and logistical support partners
- Lead the development of the Operations Function ‘Competency Framework’ for the DAL Food
- Conduct and Facilitate assigned L&D programs according to the agreed monthly L&D calendar
- Plan, design, develop, and deliver new L&D interventions as per business needs and measure the effectiveness of implemented programs
- Support in the DAL Group GDP by participating in the assessments phase and delivering the dedicated programs through all learning waves
- Review and share the L&D monthly reports with all stakeholders to enhance timely decision making
DAL Food E-Learning Programs Management:
- Lead and manage the communication and negotiations between DAL Food and the E-learning vendor in Sudan (Vonda)
- Work with the line managers and supervisors to identify the subscribers and share with the vendor for registration and activation
- Develop DAL Food Percipio User Guide and deliver the awareness for new subscribers
- Ensue on time payments for the license renewal
- Generate and share regular reports for all stakeholders and encourage superstars and manage low performers in DAL Food COLs.
- Lead and conduct the annual Award Ceremonies and prizes distribution events
DAL Food Apprenticeship Program:
- Participate in apprentices stages (assessments, selection and Learning waves delivery)
- Deliver the assigned specialized L&D interventions to the apprentices as per the agreed calendar
- Participate in the regular review of the curriculum for continuous improvements

-Lead and manage the GlobalEnglish, the web-based Business English program, team across DAL Group to serve more than 250 employees
- Manage the communication and correspondence between DAL Group and GloabalEnglish corporation
- Administer and troubleshoot user’s daily access and login issues
- Lead and conduct the annual Award Ceremonies and prizes distribution event for top performers.
DDF CAPO - L&D Focal Point:
-Act as Single Point of Contact for all L&D related matters for DAL Dairy Factory -CAPO
- Timely manage all L&D related inquiries to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Share regular L&D related reports with all stakeholders on time
DAL Group Graduate Development Program:
-Participate in all GDP stages (assessments, selection and Learning waves delivery)
- Deliver the assigned specialized L&D interventions to the GDP as per the agreed calendar

The program consists of 4 years. Each year with 2 Semesters. Courses included: Math, Statistics, introduction to computers, MS packing, finance , computing English, etc. Key Project: The graduation project was a system for Sudan National Center for Languages. It was a a registration, and management system.
