I am currently working for Samirgroup as a Pre-Sales & Implementation (Engineering) Manager in Audio Visual business, I am responsible for the proposal activities; I am responsible of the planning, developing and implementing the technical requirements on the request for proposals (RFP), I am involved in writing all the technical requirements according to customers request. I am responsible for reviewing RFPs from both private and government sectors by providing consultation to clients, determining the best solutions that meet client’s needs and expectations. Based on my qualification as a certified AV Engineer, I prepare all the necessary designs in SLD, I list all the solution items in a bill of quantity MS Excel sheet (BOQ), I negotiate with suppliers to get the best bids & cost prices .
In case of turn-key projects, I am responsible for selecting subcontractors who can fulfill the remaining part of the project such as interior design, civil and electrical work, I supervise all site related activities, resources (material & labor), schedule deployments & the implementation of the project. I make sure all projects are finished on time & budget. I have strong knowledge on configuring AV control systems, their interfaces & integration with 3rd party hardware .
I am an excellent communicator in all areas, written and verbal. I participated in team decision processes with other departments at different companies, conducted negotiations with vendors and contractors to evaluate new Software and Hardware to determine and recommend what is best for the client’s or company’s use. I conducted team walk-through to explain in technical terms the logic of the programs, in simpler plain English language to non-technical participant. I realize that communications plays a major role in the success of any business.

During my work with Samir Company as a Professional Engineer, I have applied the following tasks:
1. Pre-sales - Meeting clients, receive project requirements & transfer them into a solution that match client’s budget and
physical site capabilities.
2. Designing & Programming - Designing, analyzing, developing & creating solutions from scratch, drawing single-line
diagrams with all AV & Computer equipment by AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio, studying the site infrastructure &
conduits drawings, Computer networking communications, digital signals switching & processing, AV Control
systems designing, integration, configuration & software programming, on-site and office Project Management,
technical writings and Project Handover
3. Suppliers Negotiations - As a Presales I joined the Sales team & Management in discussions with Suppliers in terms of
lowering the cost and increasing the income
4. Following up with projects Deliverables - following up on daily basis with logistics & planning department on
shipments progress & update clients accordingly

I’ve been awarded by the sales manager many times within my service years for achieving over target sales, I was well known on my ability & skills on excellent communication with customers , excellent customer service.
I was responsible on delivering new marketing campaigns to the fans of motorsports & activities . I kept on developing the company’s business by increasing the number of customers and encourage current customers for continuously participating the motorsports activities in the BIC, I was a main participant in every event the BIC had, from desert400 races, Holden V8 Races, drag races, drifting masters events, F2 races, Motorbikes and specially Formula1 (F1) international annual race .
