I. Responsibilities
* Leading a team of Engineers, Site staff and many Sub-Contractors and guiding them to
achieve the target as per the planning schedule. Simultaneously, handling projects
including various areas of discipline like Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical Low currant
and Instrumentation.
* Monitor progress of MEP works against plan and quality requirements and take
necessary action on any discrepancies observed
* Manage construction activities and interface with the sub contractors directly
* Coordinating with all related government Team to get the approvals for all related
submittals such as ADDC, TRANSCO, FEWA, DEWA, Civil Defiance, Etisalat, ADSSC…
* Liaise with the Employer’s Representatives, Contractor’s Site Engineers, and Sub-
contractors for matters related to MEP works and maintaining a safe and healthy
relationship with the client as well as subordinate staff.
* Applied Team Leadership towards EPC/MPC Projects as a Project Manager. Established
clear guidelines to the consultants in design aspects, HAZOP Study, Modeling and
introduced new procedures promoting best practices.
* Actively responding to client for weekly meetings and handling numerous focal points
from the client simultaneously.
* Monitor and implement safety and quality of works in the project in safe manner.
* Participate in the risk management activities of the project
* Coordinate with Construction team on reviewing of MEP related drawings, HVAC, Fire
Alarm, Fire Fighting, plumbing, electrical and resolving and providing technical/design
solution
* Review scope of works for Contractor including budgeting and justification of MEP work
payments /variations.
* Manage the cost database of project cost estimates, cost control and project budget
applications.
* Responsible for project feasibility, project execution, project governance and project
closeout.
