• Bouygues Bâtiment International (the largest construction company in France and one of the leading globally) entered the Saudi market as part of Vision 2030 and signed a $1 billion contract with Qiddiya Investment Co. to build the Six Flags amusement park in Riyadh. I was one of the firsts who joined the financial team of the joint venture of the project. My tasks include but are not limited to:
• Establishing the accounting department in the JVs team together with the CFO and the Accounting Manager of the project.
• Working with the audit and tax (Zatca) teams to ensure every aspect of the A/P process is in accordance with the right procedure.
• Building the chart of accounts for the JVs SAP system in Saudi Arabia. Daily Posting of third parties and suppliers invoices in the system.
• Working with the cost control department to provide control over the purchasing process. Managing the fixed assets and the depreciation process of the project.
• Handling over 60 subcontractors with more than 130 contract related to the project.
• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting and run of trial balance with the CFO & project managers.
• Preparing and handling daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports from over 180 stores directly sent to the Financial Executive and to the CEO.
• Working on reconciliation related to the monthly commissions of all 9 aggregator companies the company has contracts with.
• Bank reconciliation of daily sales transactions and G/L entries.
• Handling and managing all the corporations fixed assets (more than 25, 000) from A to Z that include transfers, dispose of, and additions of any assets and their related monthly depreciation work.
• Calculating and finalizing monthly payroll sheets of over 800 stafs using Excel in all steps including absences, overtimes, and concluding with VAT and GOSI (government) related tasks.
• Managing monthly reports related to the third-party manpower companies (headcounts, salaries, fees, and vat) to the finance and human resources departments.
