Key Responsibilities :
• Analyzing project inception plan for foods Co.and creating a schematic layout in view of key quantifiable parameters encompassing - estimation of takeoff costs, reviewing project constructability, project buy-out, scope of work, project profitability and scheduling.
• Effecting updates/ adjustments to project plan and ensuring project continues to meet key deliverables defined at project commencement.
• Estimating costs, scheduling, planning, obtaining materials, selecting equipments, negotiating with suppliers for cost effective purchases.
• Undertaking technical/feasibility studies, site investigations, developing detailed designs, assessing potential risks and supervising contractors.
• Proffering updates/ adjustments to project plan as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project within the specified budgetary guidelines and quality standards.
• Conceptualizing, designing the project, reviewing/ finalizing designs and conducting value engineering exercise.
• Sourcing supplier and purchase the quantity to get the target needed, thereby preparing the design, tendering of projects, claims, commercial, quality management, administration and overall project control.
• Keeping abreast of latest technological advancements and utilizing the potential in order to respond to the distinctive needs of the organization.
• Directing the preparation of annual reports for the business, highlighting turnaround duration/ resources hired in order to keep the planning manager abreast of all maintenance activities of the department.
