Project: Roads and Infrastructure for Government Residential Division Project in South of Wukair

Summary of Responsibilities:
•Delivery of project HS induction and other identified HS training.
•Monitoring and reporting compliance with the project HS Plan.
•Assist with implementation and monitoring of project LERP.
•Conducting regular HS inspections and participating in HS audits.
•Reporting as required, safety incidents, including near miss events, injuries and any other HS issues.
•Assisting with investigating incidents, ensuring root cause/s are identified, and corrective actions address root cause/s.
•Actively promote hazard identification, reporting and elimination or control.
•Verify PTW requirements, closeout and sign PTW permits on behalf of LCQ JEC JV.
•Ensure that all work sites have been examined, and all precautions taken before work commences.
•Ensure that copies of all issued permits are displayed at an appropriate location.
•Examined completion of works and the PTW is correctly closed; and ensure that a permit register is maintained.
•Liaise with staff and contractors regarding any waste management issues.
•Ensure that all sensitive areas are equipped with spill kits and ensure that they are adequately stocked.
•Develop, monitor and conduct site wide HSE induction for multi-national contractors, employees and visitors. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be assigned.

• Inspect Street lighting installation, Electrical Works, Portable Water Works and CRA Networks.
• Ensuring timely implementation and monitoring of project LERP.
• Verifying PTW requirements, closeout and sign PTW permits.

Summary of Responsibilities:
•Developed, maintained, updated, and enforced policies and procedures including the following: Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Emergency Action Plan, blood borne pathogen procedures, personal protective equipment procedures and Safety Contingency Plans. Revised policies and procedures to minimize potential hazards.
•Undertake regular inspections of all waste compounds.
•Conduct regular site inspections, recording all violations, noting what remediation needs to occur to keep the project moving forward safely, producing a comprehensive report of each inspection for accounting purposes.

•Assessment of Permit to Work document to ensure that it’s appropriate for the task to be carried out.
•Performs assessment on Third Party Certificate (TPC) and TUV on all firefighting equipment and installation to ensure they are current and updated.
•Check that the contractor’s safety plan is being adhered to by conducting regular walk around inspections.
•Maintained Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on chemicals used in the workplace.
•Monitor workers activities for compliance with HSE contractual obligation/requirements, ensuring compliance and commitment with all Geo-Technical safety requirements and policies.
•Assist management in meeting established safety and risk management goals and objectives.
•Help in the reviewing and overseeing of procedures for investigating construction accidents.
•Assist in analyzing, determining and ensuring optimum process safety measures are identified & implemented during various project phases.
•Assist in the conduct of induction training for workers and employees working on the oil platform before start of work.
