• Joining Exact as Chief Accountant in July 2018, I was promoted to Finance Manager in January 2023.
• In my current role, I lead a team of Accountants and work with the CEO to assess the companys financial health and performance, and prepare statutory statements, variance analysis reports to facilitate decision making among the senior leadership at both company and group level.
• Prepare monthly reports on various projects concerning KPIs, profitability assessments, progress reports, supplier/ employee analyses, and other relevant dashboards for management perusal.
• Conduct departmental internal audits and ensure adherence to financial controls, policies and procedures and provide technical advice to management. Work closely with external providers on financial audits, tax returns, annual reports, and other internal/ external reporting matters to ensure the organization is in compliant with local regulations.

GPI is a contractor in the power sector providing construction, and operations and maintenance solutions for gas and steam turbine based power plants.
• Reporting to the Head of Finance, I was tasked with finalizing monthly/ quarterly accounts, and preparing financial statements and reports on behalf of GPIs senior management.
• Coordinated with banks on letters of credit/ guarantees, as well as handled a myriad other routine planning and accounting tasks including maintenance of schedules for payments, operational budgets and cash forecasts, expense payments and claims etc.

• Served as Lead Module Owner for Oracle purchase order, inventory, order management, and general ledger modules—and provided training and assistance to new users of the system.
• Implemented and maintained financial controls across the organization to ensure operational integrity, and prepared MIS reports to facilitate senior level decision making.
• Assisted with internal/ external audits, preparation of group financial statements and annual reports etc.
