Understand the client's organization, procedures and internal policies
Examines and audits purchase and sales documents including receipts,
invoices, business records, and related accounting records of wholesale and/or retail establishments to verify accuracy of sales of product to recipients in Florida and to determine tax liabilities
Examines and verifies business and financial records
Meets with taxpayers to discuss audit procedures, answers questions and
obtains necessary information and records
Reviews and discusses audit findings with taxpayer and/or representative to
illustrate how tax laws and rulings apply to taxpayer's specific operations and
support audit results
Examines and verifies business and financial records

Performs examination of taxpayer records for compliance under direction of supervisor and management
Prepare and Enter Journal entries, within strict timelines, for both month end accruals and adjustment
Assist Purchasing Manager in Cost Control and in Inventory management
Assist the function management team in financial analysis necessary for decision making
Assists Manager of Finance and Assistant in budget preparation and input, forecast reports and monthly reporting to corporate finance
Directly partner with plant operations by providing accounting analysis, answering management inquiries and accounting guidance
Lead the local accounting team, coaching and development of direct reports (3-4 people)
Produce monthly reports for Management
Support local management team,
To access and manage credit risk, improve debtor management and maximize
cash collection
Work closely with the local Tax Authority and other State organization, internal
& external clients included auditors, vendors, customers, etc.
