Responsible of mechanical work execution as per the approved project drawings & baseline program.
Prepare the material orders and follow up with the procurement team.
Assign responsibilities and monitor project team.
Coordinating with the Consultant for getting approval of project drawings and technical submittals.
Advise the Project Director of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snagging.
Prepare and review shop drawings against the design \[tender\] drawings for compliance with the design intent.
Prepare HVAC calculation (Load estimation, ESP calculation, Duct sizing and checking equipment selection).
Estimate Hot & Cold water demands and sizing the tank.
Prepare pump calculation and selection (Flow, Head and NPSH).
Reviewing Fire Fighting calculations.
Reviewing Technical Submittals as per the Project Specifications.
Prepare Precast MEP outlet shop drawings.
Coordinate with Infrastructure contractor.
Prepare the drawings for FIC and HC connection.
Getting DEWA approval for Water Supply connection.
Following with Dubai Municipality engineers for approval.
Preparation of installation method statements.
Prepare and review shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise the Project Manager accordingly.
Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and co-ordination issues.
Review and comment on testing and commissioning results and advise the Project Manager accordingly.
Provide advice to the Project Manager in regard to any mechanical services related variation costs that may be claimed during the course of the works.
Attend technical meetings.
Advise on long lead MEP items that may affect progress of the works.
Deal with RFIs relating to the MEP works.

Preparing technical calculations for HVAC & Plumbing.
Preparation of method statements.
Responsible for site inspections and material inspections.
Monitoring site progress and quality of mechanical works.
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
