Souq.com is the largest e-commerce site in the Arab world established in 2005. Often tagged as the "Amazon of the Middle East", Souq.com operates both as a retail site and as a marketplace for third party sellers. Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, Souq.com caters to the needs of local markets with commercial offices in Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and a technical and development centers in Jordan and India.

Main responsibilities included:
• Conduct meetings at various SDLC stages to measure progress and maintain milestones.
• Testing Souq mobile application (Android Phone, tablet and Windows phone) using actual devices and on simulators (Eclipse SDK, Windows platform, Device Anywhere)
• Validate requirements according to Souq business logic.
• Verify functionality according to requirements and performance guidelines.
• Create and execute test cases.
• Analyze test data and negotiate improvement ideas.
• Maintaining test environments stability and shared testing devices.
• Report testing progress and test coverage.
• Work collaboratively with teammates (local, remote and third parties) to resolve issues and defects and utilize the use of tools they manage and distribute work load.
• Hold training sessions for teammates and new team members to bring them up-to-speed.

Role required proficiency in the following software systems: Different mobile operating systems, Crashlytics, New Relic, Jira, Database Management tool, Kanbanery Release Management tool, Linux Background, Command Line Interfaces, Charles proxy, Snag it and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Hold training sessions for teammates and new team members to bring them up-to-speed on the project requirements and business logic.
