In my role, I am building and driving the execution of Microsoft Marketing strategy toward Open Source initiative in Egypt. The execution involves connecting with all open source fans in Universities, Communities, Government officials, start-ups, Open Source freelancing developers and enterprise customer to convince them with Microsoft Openness and encourage them to use its benefits instead of think of Microsoft as an enemy.

Also, I act as a Compete Lead for Microsoft Egypt responsible of developing the strategy toward Microsoft main competitor by gathering information about our competitors in the market and building strategy and plan to beat them and increase Microsoft market share.
As a stretched assignment, I am owning the Egyptian subsidiary National Plan which helps the Communities and the country to achieve Egypt’s national goals specially in building capacity for the youth, increase the employability, and help the economic development. This includes the planning, driving execution and results monitoring.

I worked with Egyptian public sector Elites (ministers, ministries’ CIOs, Governmental IT managers ), addressing their business pains and introduce the latest worldwide technology trends, success stories and ideas in order to solve their pains and achieve the desired goals.
This is achieved by:
- Identifying the active segments in public sector and work closely to build a complete vision for information technology and introduce business related solutions to those sectors.
- Building partner ecosystem to deliver Microsoft Solutions to our customers through recruiting partners and help them in building the needed capacity.
- Conducting awareness activities for the major customers on latest Microsoft solutions and the worldwide trends and how using the mentioned solutions in the Public sector.
- Building strong pipeline based on industry solutions and drive the opportunities through introducing right solutions and engaging the right partner for each opportunity.
