• Review the contract in terms of scope of work, commitments to the client, schedule, and areas of concerns, action plans, and collecting relevant information from various disciplines.

• Training of junior engineers for piping erection strategy and methodology (how to plan and make fast efficient progress supports test packages release from day one of their scopes).
• Interface with site to solve site problems in terms of material not received, non conformance reports, drawings then discuss and analyze the same with the engineering, procurement and expediting teams as required to arrive at workable solutions for site.
• Supervising piping erection at site for all piping lines and piping field materials through site visits.
• Organize weekly review meetings with the client to discuss progress achieved to date as well as a forecast for the following week in addition to any other issues which need to be resolved.
• Coordination with engineering department to divide my piping scope into test packages.
• Follow up release progress of test packages and organize weekly (and daily if needed) review meetings with site engineers.
• Follow up reinstatement of tested piping scope.
• Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as required by the project manager.
Steel structure scope
• Reviewing Steel Erection drawings.
• Planning for ground assembly for main columns with beams to compose frames can be lifted and erected one time.
• Follow up erection of main steel girders and bracings between frames (with consideration of erection sequence).
• Follow up alignment and bolt tightening for main members of the structure on the main Aligns and Axis before offering for inspection.
• Follow up structure dressing (erection of small beams, bracings, angles, C-Channels and other medium & light steel items).
• Follow up Erection steel handrails and gratings.
• Prepare progress reports based on erected, aligned, tightened tonnages for each structure.
Piping scope
• Reviewing Method of statement, specifications, and piping class summary
• Reviewing my scope of piping lines from the GA Drawings, P & ID, and isometric drawings.
• Follow up the status of spools, field run pipes, and pipe supports through daily updated Excel file from fabrication workshop and painting yard and coordinating for transportation these materials to site.
• Training of manpower (how to achieve high progress with quality in piping erection and also solve erection problems).
• Follow up fit up and welding of pipe lines with pipe supports in place and erection of other field materials according to the Iso drawing or As Built.
Where, the quality in piping erection is top priority to release test packages for test.
• Coordination with scaffolding groups to make access for assembly the piping lines at any elevation.
• Coordinating with QC department to cover any required NDT or Heat treatment.
• Coordination with engineering department to divide my piping scope into test packages.
• Close punch items (A items) (release test packages for hydro, service, and visual test.) (Minimizing of A items as possible is my top concern).
• Studying engineering drawings and following up (cutting materials, Rolling, fabrication, fit up, and welding) of vessels, tanks shells, and tank cleanout doors.
• Following up fit up and welding C.S pipes to flanges, elbows, weld olets, nipples, …etc
• Following up heat treatment processes and NDT for welded items if needed.
• Following up sand and grit blasting, painting, and DFT checking.
Working in KOC as an inspection Engineer (supplied from HISCO)
Working area: all KOC plants, GCs, and well heads pipelines (new construction, upgrading, or repair) at west and north Kuwait.
• Fit up inspection and welding visual inspection.
• Surface visual inspection after sand and grit blasting.
• Surface roughness inspection (press (O) gauge) and coating thickness inspection (dry film thickness) DFT.
