Overall responsible
Technical management of the Industrial and Marine Services department, working on:

* wreck removal operations

Technical management of the Global Development Department which provides services internationally in the fields of:

tank cleaning
pipeline cleaning
land remediation
hazardous material response and
Responsible for the technical evaluation, cost estimation, and execution of all the international projects.
Project: Heating and STS Operation M/T Geraki
Heating of 25.000 tons solidified Palm Oil with the use of mobile equipment (steam boilers, heating coils etc.).
Ship to Ship transfer of the liquefied Palm Oil with the use of portable equipment (pumps, hoses, power packs etc.) from M/T Geraki to five (5) receiving vessels.
Cleaning of M/T Geraki’s 16 cargo tanks.
Main activities/responsibilities :
Responsible for the technical evaluation, the planning and the designing of the operation.
Responsible for all on-site management and organizing of the works, for quality assurance, H&S and environmental issues.
Reporting on the client and the relevant authorities.
Responsible for the procurement of all required materials on-site and the organization of the subcontractors.
Maintained the financial supervision of the project.
Clean Up and Land Reclamation, Kosovo Energy Corporation, co-financed by the World Bank and the Kingdom of Netherlands (FIDIC contract).
Emptying and cleaning of 22 tanks, total capacity 45.000 m3 of ex-lignite gasification plant, Pristina, Kosovo
Packaging, transport and final disposal of 6.500 tons of tar sludge (content of the tanks)
On-site treatment of 15.000 m3 of waste water contaminated by phenols using Fenton’s reaction
Responsible for all on-site management and organizing of the works, for quality assurance, H&S and environmental issues.
Reporting on the Project Management Unit (client) and the Supervisor Engineer.
Advising and commenting on all proposed method statements for the works.
Responsible for the procurement of all required materials on-site and the organization of the subcontractors.
Maintained the financial supervision of the project.
As Marine Chemist (Certified Gas-Free inspector), performed gas measurements and general safety inspections in order to issue “Gas-Free Certificates” for the entrance of personnel and the execution of hot works into vessel’s confined spaces.
As Compliance manager for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001, carried out Health and Safety inspections, accountable for the set up and update of activities’ Risk Assessment, for the implementation of a Work Permit System and for the execution of Internal and External Audits.
As Deputy Environmental Manager, responsible for the Ship’s Waste Management System, the operation of the Sewage Treatment Units and the implementation of the Contingency Plan.
