Managing the IT Operation Unit of Enterprise Technology which include the Infrastructure team, Release and Change Management, the Service Desk, Security and compliance, and Vendor Management.
I have lead lean transformation projects in IT Operations, Service Desk, and Release Management. I was also heavenly involved in lean transformation in the procurement, motor claims and contact center areas.
Other projects included: Risk mitigation program, new Datacenter with virtual servers. VDI environment, ITFM and cost allocations. building ITDR, and currently halfway through organization-wide BCP project.
While in many organizations, the title IT operations included the standard “keep the lights on” objectives, in Meydan the focus was more into supporting the massive race operation and hospitality events. In addition to the Datacenter, I was managing an iMAX cinema, world’s largest 110m LED screen, and 410 HD broadcast cameras.
