KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Conduct daily toolbox talks to enhance awareness.
Prepare and submit daily reports to your immediate supervisor.
Perform weekly safety inspections and create observation reports.
Ensure adherence to the permit to work system.
Implement necessary safety precautions before commencing any task.
Monitor all workers to ensure they are wearing prescribed PPE at the job site.
Consistently remind workers of the companys HSE policy, aiming for zero incidents and
accidents.
Lead a weekly walkthrough with clients and contractors to ensure all safety measures are in
place.
Conduct site surveys to verify that safe work methods are being followed.
Carry out monthly internal audits on PPE, housekeeping, and hand tools.
Inspect portable equipment and ensure machine safeguarding.
Participate in accident and incident investigations.
Review job safety analysis (JSA) and **hazard identification** to educate supervisors and
workers on safe practices.
Report unsafe conditions to the foreman, job supervisor, or higher management.
Perform daily routine checks on working at heights.
Ensure closure of work permits and maintain proper housekeeping.
Report directly to the HSE manager.

Safety Policy Development
Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry
standards and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with national and local safety regulations, such as OSHA in the United
States and other relevant safety laws.
Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification
Identify workplace hazards through risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections.
Evaluate risks and implement measures to control or eliminate them.
Incident Investigation and Reporting
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine root causes.
Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory authorities as needed.

Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness.
Coordinate with local emergency services and first responders.
Safety Culture Promotion
Promote a culture of safety within the organization by raising safety awareness and
encouraging employee involvement in safety initiatives.

Safety Performance Monitoring
Monitor safety performance metrics, such as injury rates, and analyze trends to identify areas
for improvement.
Develop and implement corrective actions to address safety issues.

Safety Training and Education
Design and conduct safety training programs for employees, contractors, and new hires.
Ensure that employees are well-versed in safety protocols and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with other departments, including human resources, operations, and maintenance,
to integrate safety into all organizational aspects.
Effectively communicate safety-related information to all levels of the organization.
Equipment and Facility Safety
Ensure all equipment and facilities meet safety standards and are properly maintained.
Coordinate regular safety inspections and address any identified safety concerns.
