Prepare & monitor standard HSE processes / strategy
- Assess and eliminate risks/hazards through implementation of HSE standards to ensure safe workplace without risk
- Liaison with Concerned Bodies
- Ensure the effective achievement of HSE objectives through the strong leadership by setting individual objectives and managing performance
Monitor the construction activities against the requirements of the projects health, safety and security Management plan.
Monitors the preparation of method statements by the contractors and their approval by the site supervision Team.
Monitors the provision by the consultant and contractor of personal protective equipment.
Monitor the provision by the contractor of health and safety inductions, briefings and lunch-box talks.
Monitors the provision by the Contractors off site safety signage and notice boards.
Monitors the provision of the Contractors off site security measures.
Reports on the Contractors failure to comply with the requirements of the health, safety and security
management system and plan promptly and ensure that immediate and appropriate corrective actions are Implemented.
Issues of health, safety and security incident reports and register every two weeks and when urgent action must be taken.
Identifies trends in health, safety and security non-compliances and proactively identify with the contractor Measures to stop the trends.
Prepares and submit final reports on health, safety and security management and include as part of the
Handover deliverables and Health and Safety Designers File.
Participates in the development and implementation of design office and project safety plans.
Assigns and provides technical supervision of project safety performance, qualifications and programs.
Reviews contractors on bid list with regard to safety performance, qualifications and programs.
Conducts safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections of various offices and construction projects.
• To take an active role in construction & operation HSE management and ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Communicate and reporting safety performance to the line management
• Undertake daily safety inspection and recommend necessary corrective actions to the PMCM / Supervising Consultants / Developers / Contractors.
• Carry out accident investigation, confirm root cause and propose recommendations for improvement
• Undertake planned & random safety audits and recommend improvements
• Attend relevant safety meetings
• Review and approve key HSE documentation for project HSE management
• Conduct Lusail Safety induction and awareness training
• Track and monitor close out of safety violations.
• Monitor the implementation of Lusail HSE Programs
• Promote HSE culture as a core value for Lusail and QD local projects and implement a zero accident tolerance strategy

Carry out record, document and issue daily, weekly & monthly, site safety inspections, audits and reports.
Liaise with Local Authority Safety Department, contractors and other consultants.
Review, assess and approve all safety related submittals.
Advise on potential hazards at work site.
Prepare and issue Safety Violation Notices.
Ensure all agreed safety standards and applicable regulations are observed.
Carry-out and record regular site safety inspections.
Assist in investigation, preparation and documentation Safety Manuals, Policies and Procedures.
Investigate all accidents and dangerous occurrences, prepare reports.
Review and develop "Permit to Work" procedures.
Promote and carry out site safety training.
Set a high personal example of Health and Safety at all times.
Assist in preparation and presentation of internal and external Construction related Safety Training Courses.
Monitor & Control the Implementation of the Company HSE-MS & HSE Policy throughout all management levels & reporting to management about HSE matter as per OHSAS-18001 and ISO-14001 requirements. Implementing PCFC-EHS, DM Safety Regulation, Company Safety Rules.
• Monitor and control the implementation of the company HSE Management System through out all Operation management levels.
• Assists with the development and implementation of safe operating and emergency procedures.
• Conducts regular safety inspections of operating plant and equipment.
• Participates in incident investigations, including near misses, property damage, injuries, occupational illness and spills
• Ensures that safety equipment and facilities are kept in best working condition by developing and implementing equipment inspection and preventive maintenance programs, setting up efficient record keeping systems of all equipment under my responsibility and recommends the replacement of the faulty equipment.
• Keeps abreast of new developments, safe working practices, government regulations and relevant international codes of practice
• Participate and assist in conducting Risk Assessment for all critical jobs and new projects on site.
• Coordinates the occupational health and safety activities assigned with staff and contractors to ensure compliance with Operations objectives, policies and procedures, within area of responsibility
