 Responsible for the ventilator management when patient is on ECMO.
 Render Aerosol Therapy, chest physiotherapy and suctioning.
 Extracting Arterial blood gas and Chest X-ray interpretation
 Assist doctors during intubations
 Secure and maintain endotracheal tube

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

 Setting up Ventilators and monitor parameters such as Conventional Ventilators and High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (HFO) and Nitric Oxide (iNO).

 Responsible for Survanta Administration.

PCMC Job Description

 Performs diagnostic procedures at pulmonary diagnostic laboratory and rehabilitation unit such as pulmonary function tests.
 Extract Arterial Blood Gas and Interpret.
 Assist in bronchoscopy both in Operating Room and Pulmonary Laboratory using flexible fiber-optic scope.
 Perform therapeutic procedures in pulmonary rehabilitation.
 Instruct proper usage of different inhalational devices, peak-flow meter and incentive spirometry.
 Render Aerosol therapy in mechanically ventilated patients, chest-physiotherapy and suctioning.
 Perform Critical Care management during extubation.
 Render home care services and assist in transport of oxygen-dependent patients.
 Set- up Carden CPAP and monitor.
 Set-up, evaluate and maintain mechanical ventilators
 Troubleshoot and innovates minor changes in equipments.
