•To conduct HSE training and safety Orientation for all SHAW and SHAW subcontractor Personal.
•Preparation of agendas for "Tool Box" safety meetings. Periodical attendance at these meetings, collation and distribution of minutes of these meetings.
•Prepare and submit to the client all agreed safety reports concerning SHAW and SHAW subcontractor activities.
•Monitoring Site and office HSE Activities.
•Accidents and Incidents investigation & Report to Area HSE Manager.
•To prepare Investigation reports for Near Miss/ incident and Accident.
•To issue and keep the records of the permit/JSA in idoc operating system.

•Conduct weekly Tool Box meeting with supervisor and Managers regarding Safety Issues.
•Preparation of Risk Assessment, Emergency evacuation plans and mass drill.
•To monitor working environment & ensure work performance is under safe condition by making inspection of the workshop (machines, floor condition and lighting provision, working under overhead crane.

•Assist the Safety supervisors/engineers in promoting and implementing the Projects’ HSE Rules and Regulations in accordance with the Owners’ HSE&S program. Coordinating with the Field Safety Officers/supervisors, and recommending specific safety measures whenever necessary and applicable.
•Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety and job related problems, hazardous areas, and working conditions. Recommend appropriate measures to the Management to improve safety conditions of the Project and subcontractor personnel and equipment from accident and damage Ensuring that the requirements of training/safety procedures.

•To inspect fire-fighting equipments and to see that they are in working condition.
•To ensure the personal protective equipment in working condition and being used by workers in hazardous situations.
•To monitor working environment & ensure work performance is under safe condition by making inspection of the workshop (machines, floor condition and lighting provision, working under overhead crane etc).
•Conduct daily inspection in the work areas to ensure the health of the workers & protection of environment are properly taken care of.
•Determine the required Personal Protective Equipment in the project and ensure its proper use all times.

Duties and responsibilities include.


Site HSE Management.
Site HSE Activities, Guide safety officer and HSE supervisors, Foreman to conduct Safety Tool Box talk.
Create awareness program to update supervisors, foreman to stay in line with HSE requirements.
Conduction of Safety Meetings, coordinating with the clients for joint inspection & Walk through.
Preparation of Risk Assessment, Emergency evacuation plans (During Fire, Gas Leakage, etc.) & Mass drill.
Assistance to HSE Officers & production team in preparing Job Safety Analysis & Safety Task Analysis.
Accidents/ Incidents investigation & Reporting.
Before leaving the job site, make sure that all unfinished job such as open pit shall be covered.
Reminding all workers that the safety in the best policy and target to achieve zero accidents.
Make sure that before beginning any job there is necessary work permit.
Fire prevention of all company activities, testing of smokes and heat detectors,
Conducting emergency drills every three month.

The scope involves the construction of the ethylene drivative control system which includes sub station building, Radio ccr building, tank farm & tank farm control building, Technical building and Tower. Tentative duration of the project is 3.year
