In-charge of mechanical installations for commercial, industrial and residential projects
• Responsible for the execution of all approved HVAC shop drawings
• Submitting Request for Inspection (RFI) and Material Inspection Request (MIR) to the Mechanical consultant
• Prepare mechanical estimates and other pertinent report required for each project
• Coordinating to other discipline for proper installation of mechanical services
• Regularly monitors the implementation of the project and sees to it that all works are carried out properly and in compliance with the approved design and specification
• Prepares material take-off for mechanical works prior for material procurement
• Attending site technical and coordination meeting with project managers and other trade contractors during construction
• Preparation of bill of materials, shop drawings and as-built drawings required for each project
• Coordinate with the clients and other trade contractors regarding new changes with the project
• Monitor materials needed for the project
• Execute proper implementation of mechanical works as per project construction schedule
• Conducting Testing and Commissioning Works
• Performing other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
Check and review the approved plans, specifications, material submittal and method of statement for the proper construction & quality implementation at job site.
• Conducting Preliminary inspection with sub-contractors and ensures work are completed before final inspection with the Consultant
• Reviewing RFI (Request for Inspection) and Material Inspection Request (MIR) from subcontractors
• Ensures that works are carried out and executed as per approved drawings, material submittals and specification.
• Ensures that all materials and equipment installed on site or fabricated off-site conforms to the contract documents or material submittals.
• Coordinates and deals directly with the Site Management and Subcontractor to identify the deficiencies.
• Implementing directives (observation report, Notice of Non Conformance) to the sub-contractors for rectifications for any remarks found in the installed works.
• Reporting work progress and Monitoring on site to control the quality of work being implemented by the construction group.
