Ensign Communiqué is a Pakistan based company, Shaheen foundation (PAF). As part of deployment of its TDM-based 150-seater Knowledge Center/Call Center, I worked in close collaboration with Singapore’s giant Network solution provider, 3D Networks Pte. Ltd & Apollo Telecom, which is providing and backing the Nortel Network's state-of-art infrastructure with robust Technology.
Reporting to the Country Head 3DNetworks Pakistan, I was solely responsible for the complete deployment of the project.
Following are some of my deployment responsibilities there:
Standards-based Physical LAN: Implementation of Structured cabling of the 3 floors including connecting Fiber Optic throughout floors.
Deployment of Nortel infrastructure: Nortel Passport 7480, Meridian Option 61 C, Nortel Router, Contivity 2700 & switches etc. (under deployment)
Commissioning of IPLC till GA. This involved coordinating with various carriers i.e. FLAG (local) & MCI (far-end tail).
Liaison & Interaction with various market Communications & Technology partners & vendors/suppliers (PTCL, Apollo etc)
Implementation of ASP model Network & Call Routing.
Planning & Management of IP links: Traffic Management
Implementation of TouchStar predictive dialer.
Implementation of Symposium Call Center Server: Performing intelligent Call Routing & CTI, ACD.
Understanding of Power requirements, grounding and supervised implementation of UPS.
A Business Process Outsource office of AMZ Technologies. During my stay at AMZXS as a WAN Engineer, my primary responsibilities included Router, Quintums administration, Proxy Server & Domain management.
