 Executing Joint fit-up inspection and preparation inspection for RTR lamination and Adhesive joints.
 Executing Inspection Curing of joint for Thermo setting process.
 Inspecting piping just before erection to verify that interior is clear of foreign particles. Check edge preparation and fit-ups to verify that areas to be welded are free of contaminants.
 Installation & Inspection of GRP, RTR piping and Sewer manhole for drainage system as per approved IFC Drawings.
 Maintaining the gaps between the pipes as per the client requirement.
 Maintaining the straight alignment of the pipe during installation.
 Maintaining the side clearance distance as per the client requirement
 Maintaining the slope of the pipe as per the client requirement.
 Coordinates with the surveyor in charge for alignment of pipes inside the trench before doing the Lamination process.
 Checking the approved materials and procedure in laminating GRP/GRE pipes based on the method of statement approved by the client.
 Hydro testing, Leak testing. Witnessing Gravity Test of RTR Pipes
 Responsible for the entire piping inspection at site.
 Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.
 Check and assure that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test. Ensure that isolation or disconnection of equipment not to be tested. Check vents are open when filling and draining lines.
 Checking the testing pressure does not exceed the allowable test pressure of any equipment in the system.
 Internal Visual Inspecting of equipment / pipe spools etc, prior to installation at site and at Vendors premises.
 Hydro test package review prior to testing and submitting to client for approval & responsible for hydro test
 Gaskets rating, size, cleaning & damage free inspection and no visible damage after installation.
 Familiar with codes of standard and classification body requirements.
 Ability to interpret P&ID, Isometric, layout drawing and specification.
