KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Worked as an electrical engineer for the dry utilities such as MV service (33KV) like MV cables, Unit substations (Transformers, RMUs, LV panels) and Ducts provisions for the HV lines, LV, services providers for SEC, STC and MOI/Security services respectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reviewing the Pre-qualifications, Method of statements, shop drawings, as-built drawings, technical submittal, RFI’s, ITPs, checklists and handover documents.
• Coordinating directly with the design team for any design issue and monitoring the project to keep it on schedule.
• Attending weekly progress meetings with the RCU client and contractors.
• Reviewed the fabrication drawings for the Transformer, RMU, MDBs, PFC, MDBs, DBs, BMSs, Lighting control system, GRMS etc.,
• Supervised the erection of Transformer, RMU and all electrical panels (MDB, PFC, SMDB, DB etc., ).
• Supervised the erection of IT & security racks, Fire alarm & PAVA panels, GRMS, DDC, UPS, battery banks, access control panels etc.,
• Supervised the erection of all the booster pumps and all swimming pool pumps.
• Supervised the erections of the switches, controllers, patch panels and other accessories within the IT and security racks.
• Reviewed the voltage drop calculation, short circuit calculation, cable selections, busbar selections etc.,
• Reviewed the drawings for the electrical LV systems (power and lighting) and ELV such as GRMS, Lighting control system, EMS, BMS, Fire Alarm & PAVA, CCTV, DATA and Telecom, Access control system, BGM, WIFI, IPTV, water detection system, Disable toilet alarm system etc.,
• Supervised the installation of power cables, fiber optic cables within the ducts, power and lighting wiring, fire alarm and PAVA cables, EMS, Data and telecom cables.
• Supervised all the third fix installation of lighting, LED drivers, Smoke and heat detectors, PAVA and BGM speakers etc.,
• Supervised the earthing, grounding and Lightning protection installation in accordance with the drawings.
• Monitored the termination & jointing of MV & LV power cables, splicing of fiber optic cables, patch cords in the racks etc.,
• Witnessed the factory acceptance test for the equipment.
• Witnessed the testing and commissioning for the cables (insulation resistance & continuity test), OTDR test for fiber optic cables, Transformer, RMU, MDB and SMDB panels, Ground resistance test, polarity test and lighting.
• Witnessed the testing & commissioning of the GRMS system, lighting control system, BMS, access control system, fire alarm system, PAVA, BGM, WIFI, Disable alarm system etc.,
• Assisted the contractor and specialist to develop the Fire alarm cause and effect matrix, BMS, Lighting control and GRMS programming in accordance with the client’s requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitored and conducted inspections for the Excavation, HV (115KV) cable pulling, termination, installation of link boxes, Communication Hand holes, and earthing system and reports directly to the project managers (SSEM).
• Assigning daily routine works to the Engineer, technician and labour.
• Preparing the weekly and monthly progress schedule in the MS project and presenting it to the client for approval.
• Ensuring the activities are meeting up to the schedule.
• Arranging the necessary manpower for the activities and reporting to the management.
• Preparing the invoices as per the completed activities and submitted to the client for approval.
• Monitoring all the construction activities as per applicable SEC code and standards, and project technical specifications
requirements.

• PROJECTS: CONNECTION OF AL RIMAL S/S (8340-9014 G) WITH 132KV U/G NETWORK IN RIYADH.
• CONNECTION OF MOONSIYAH S/S (8257-9038) WITH 132KV U/G NETWORK IN RIYADH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinated and arranged the approval or permit and Right of the way from the concerned department prior to initiating any excavation at the site.
• Closely supervised the trench measurement activities at the site and arranged the approved HV cables drums for laying in accordance with the measurement and other necessary materials from the store.
• Monitored and ensured the trench is cleaned prior to cable laying.
• Supervised the Installation of transmission cables 132kV & 115kV U/G XLPE cable in the trench & substation basements, link boxes erections, ducts, and earthing system as per the SEC construction standards (TCS). Monitored the transposing of the HV cables as per the approved drawings.
• Coordinating with the approved jointers after completion of cable laying for the cable joints and termination in the link boxes.
• Monitored the termination of the HV cables in the GIS compartment and Gantry (outdoor & indoor), jointing and erection of Cable sealing end and clamps/support in the basements.
• Supervised the erection of communication manholes as per drawing.
• Arranged the fiber optic cables as per the measurement and carried out installation within the manholes as per the SEC standards.
• Monitoring and ensuring the quality control of electrical works and arranging consultants for the inspections with appropriate documents.
• Reading and implementing electrical design specifications (PTS), SEC standards (TMSS, TCS, TES) and technical drawings.
• Planning and scheduling project activity in accordance with the timeline & deadline, evaluating manpower and other resources as per project requirements.
• Coordination with the SEC clients to get PTW and Outages at energize Substation.
• Coordination with Gassing and De-gassing team during Termination & Testing activities.
• Preparing the bi-weekly and monthly reports as per site and reporting them to the PM.
• Maintain the health and safety measures on site and ensure that all quality control regulations are met.
• Preparing RED MARKUP drawings and submitting As-Built drawings for final approval.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: TESTING AND COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (U/G CABLES) (C.O.A & E.O.A)
• Conducted the testing and commissioning for the underground HV cables and GIS for the various Capital Lights company projects alongside other companies like (ALFANAR, TDP, SSEM, AND IBN-OMAIRAH).
• Approved SEC T&C engineer for the U/G cables up to 380KV.
TYPE OF TESTS PERFORMED (U/G CABLES):
The following test is to be done for cables as per SEC standards.
• Sheath or Jacket Test for HV underground cables in terms of SEC Standard.
• Continuity Test for 132 & 115kV Underground XLPE cable circuits.
• Phase/continuity checking of cables for phase Identification.
• DC Conductor resistance for cables in accordance with SEC standards.
• Earth Resistance & SVL Insulation Resistance Measurement Test for Link Boxes.
• Positive and Zero Sequence Impedance Test.
• Cross Bonding Verification Test for cables as per SEC standards.
• Conductor Insulation Resistance (IR) & Capacitance Measurement Test.
• DC Contact Resistance Measurement Test.
• High voltage Test for 132kV and 115kV Underground cable and GIS.
• Sheath and Conductor Fault location for High voltage cables.
• Insulation Resistance test for Surge Arrester.
• Calibration of Leakage current meter (Surge Counter).
• Check tower foot earthing resistance as per Saudi Electricity Company standards.
• Perform load Calculation, Cable selection, Short Circuit calculation, lighting selection, and Power factor calculation, for commercial and domestic buildings.
• Calculation for sizing of LV cables and voltage drop calculation.
• Selection of power sockets and lighting with the help of Dialux software.
• Preparation of AC single line diagram and AC panel board Schedules.
• Assisting the draftsmen in designing the electrical drawings.
• Coordinated with the client for the actual requirement at the site.
• Visited site to monitor the installation of Power Cable, Cable tray, Lighting, Distribution control panel, and all electrical equipment and Grounding system, etc.
• Conduct field surveys and study diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
• Installation and supervision work for the following low current system, Fire Alarm System and CCTV System.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (2010 – 2014). Diploma in “Electrical Designing & Drafting” from SM TECHNO ENGINEERING & SOFTWARE SERVICES. Diploma in “HVAC Designing Drafting & Installation” from SM TECHNO ENGINEERING & SOFTWARE SERVICES. Certificate as an Associate Engineer by Saudi Council of Engineer. Certificate as Work Permit Receiver from Saudi Electricity Company.
