1) Construction : Construction of 115kV/13.8kV GIS Substation to provide 134 MVA (120MW)
permanent reliable power supply.
2) FEED : FEED studies for synchronization of existing KJO power plant GTGs (13.8kV)
to SEC National GRID by stepping up 13.8kV to 115kV. Integration of new substation Controls, Communication system and fire detection system with the existing facilities

• Construction of 115kV/13.8kV GIS Substation.
• Review of IFC Drawings submitted by EPC Contractor.
• Managing activities related to Instrumentation & controls, Fire Detection system, Communication system etc.
• Tracking of ongoing project activities as per the project schedule.
• Identifying different interface points with existing facilities and other projects.
• Expediting engineering deliverables, vendor coordination, materials tracking, and construction execution as per project schedule.
• Monitoring the activities and work sequences of Contractor/vendors to ensure quality, workmanship & compliance with Project specifications, ITP and schedules.
• FEED Stage: Conducted site surveys for FEED Contractor/ stakeholders.
• Communication with different stakeholders to collect existing database required by FEED Contractor.
• Preparation of FEED Design deliverables as per the requisite deliverables.
• Communication with different client departments in getting their inputs.
• Distribution of FEED Design deliverables for review purpose at 30%, 60%, 90% and 100%.
• Follow-up for collecting design review comments from different departments.
• Follow-up with FEED Contractor for incorporating Design review comments.
• Conducting Design Review meetings at 30%, 60%, 90% and 100%.
• FEED Close-out by verifying the deliverables meeting the project specifications.
• Communicating with Commercial department for Bidders invitation.
• Conducting Site survey and JOB-X meeting for selected bidders.
• Preparing responses for the bidder queries raised by bidders.

Title : Luberef PDA( Propane De-Asphalting) Revamp. Project

Sponsor : Al Hugayet General Contracting CO.
Period : JAN’2018- JAN’2019.
For increasing the capacity of Propane de-asphalting unit from 6, 500bpd to 12, 500bpd by KBR’s Rose technology uses a de-asphalted oil stripper, as well as an asphalting stripper to recover and recycle the dissolved solvents.
Demolition of Existing compressor, Pumps, motors etc and Installation of new equipments / Instruments and addition of DCS/ESD controllers.

Title : Luberef Yanbu Refinery Expansion Project
(1 Billion USD Refinery Project)

Sponsor : Al Hugayet General Contracting CO.
Period : APR’2016- DEC’2017

Luberef Yanbu Refinery Expansion Package is green field project costing 1 Billion USD which includes Installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning for Hydrocracker unit, Isodewaxing Unit, Hydrogen Generation & Recovery, Amine Recovery, SRU (Sulphur Recovery Unit), utilities etc.

Major Responsibilities:

● Working in Luberef Project Management Team. Supervision and Managing Contractors.
● Monitor and supervise the site activities and work sequences of Instrumentation Installation, testing and commissioning by the Contractor/Subcontractors/Vendors to ensure jobs compliance with Project specifications and schedule.
● Conducting SAT/ISAT for DCS (Yokogawa centum VP)/ESD (Yokogawa Prosafe)/MCM (GE Bentley 3500), coordinating with Client and Contractor by monitoring and controlling the activities as per the Schedule
● Functional Testing of Yokogawa Centum VP DCS, ESD, Subsystems such as MCM, Custody metering systems, SCADA, PI System, Asset Management System etc.
● Expediting engineering deliverables, vendor coordination, materials tracking, and construction execution with preset project schedule.
● Providing technical solutions for the engineering issues raised by contractor during different project phases.
● Monitor and supervise the loop checking and provide technical support in resolving critical problems found during the loop check.
● Monitoring Contractor progress to close Final Walkthrough, closely monitor PMCC and Punch Clearing progress through Luberef online MPCS system and expedite Contractor / Subcontractor in clearing “YES” punch items to expedite signing of PMCC and to proceed for the final Start Up.
● Prepare daily status report and conduct meetings with Contractor / Sub-Contractor / Vendors to expedite the daily progress and provide technical support.
● Demolition and Installation of new JB’s, Cable laying/ Pulling, Instruments Installation and calibration of Field Instruments and Control Valves

Project : Yasref- Bonatti Spa SP4 Utilities.

Scope : Substation Automation, networking, monitoring(SCADA).
Yokogawa DCS and Field Instrumentation for utilities.

• ENMCS (Electrical Networking Monitoring & Control System) Scope includes Testing and Commissioning of SEL Relays in Switchgears with Citech SCADA through Modbus and IEC 61850 Protocol
• TOOLS: AcSELerator Quickset, AcSELerator Architect, AcSELerator RTAC, Hyperterminal, SISCO AX-61850 etc.
• Integration of 18 Substations in Domain with Email Server, Backup server and Historian server.
• Utility Package includes pre-commissioning and commissioning support for 4 boiler units, 1 turbine etc. for Steam Supply, Water Supply & Treatment, Nitrogen Supply, Air Supply unit etc
• Responsible for YOKOGAWA Centum VP DCS hardware, Cabinets wiring and networking. Field Cables termination and loop checking.

Project : Marafiq STG 5 & 6 Power Plant.

Scope : Steam Power plant comprising of BOP,
STG(275X2MW) and Oil Fired WaterTube Boiler(Doosan Boiler888.27 T/H) Field Instrumentation Activities and YOKOGAWA centum VP DCS & PLCs.
• Review of Engineering Drawings submitted by EPC Contractor. Maintaining Proper Coordination between Marafiq PMT, EPC Contractor and Sub-contractors for successful completion of work
• Inspection of Construction, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities. Walk-through with PMT, EPC Contractors & Subcontractors for inspection of completed works.
• Inspection of raised RFI for construction, Loop Check and creating punchlist for incomplete work.
• Closing the punchlist after completion of work.

• Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Field Instruments and interfacing with PLC’s
• Worked with Siemens PLCs STEP7- 200, 300 hardware configurations with application software STEP7 Micro/WIN, Basic v10.5 and SIMATIC Manager.
• Developing SCADA/HMI Application by using SIMATIC WINCC, WINCC Flexible Developing User graphics screen, Alarm Management, reports, trends, historic and data Logs for Process reports to create user-friendly environment for operations.
