Senior Programme Manager - Digital في Lloyds Banking Group

Senior Programme Manager delivering a number of innovative strategic/regulatory and multi-channel projects in the Digital / Online Banking channel of Lloyds Banking Group. (One of the largest online banking platforms in Europe).
I was responsible for managing 2 major strategic programs of work as well as a number of strategic/regulatory projects across the full project lifecycle, working directly with the senior stakeholders to ensure all business objectives and requirements were met whilst managing a number of cross-functional delivery teams located both on and offshore.
Multi-Channel Banking Programme Manager
This programme involved taking the Lloyds Digital Online Banking platform and reusing its functionality within the branch and contact centre networks of the UKs largest banking group. This involved identifying and creating a roadmap to enable the end to end digitisation of a number of branch/contact centre processes.
Public Sites Responsive Programme Manager / Interim Head of Public Sites \[Budget £8-10M\]
As a member of the digital banking senior leadership team I was tasked with owning the largest programme of work within public sites domain, transforming their technology and customer offering delivering both the infrastructure, software and business process change. Following the departure of the Head Of Public Sites I was asked to stand in, and ensure the continued focus and delivery of the department.
Alongside these projects I was also tasked with delivering a number of other projects including:
ISA Investments projects \[2 projects - Budget £4.5M\]
Providing online servicing of “back book” stocks and shares ISAs in response to Investments Regulations.
STP online sales of Halifax packaged bank accounts \[Budget £4M\]
Regulatory project to deliver end-to-end online sales application with instant decision and fulfilment, in response to ICOBS UK compliance/regulations regarding packaged bank account sales.

Engineers Workbench Programme - £3M

This programme encapsulated 4 key projects delivering new applications to BG Service and Repair engineers.

My responsibilities for the programme included:
• Overall delivery of the programme including full responsibility for all finances and business change activities.
• Direct Project management of 2 of the 4 projects incl. supplier and team management both on & offshore (India)
• Day-to-Day stakeholder management with Senior Product Owners, the Director of Strategy and Head of Change.

Landlords Programme - £8M

I was handed responsibility for managing “The Landlords Programme” a critical digital business initiative delivering a range of applications across British Gas in the Telephony, Digital and Engineer/Operations channels to enable a new market sector within British Gas. Due to its high profile and challenging timescales I was managing senior stakeholders (Director level) on a weekly basis.

A self-employed Project/Programme Manager managing a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects across BP Upstream.

Project One: Global Chemical Analysis Database:
Overall Business and IT Project Manager responsible for managing the data governance, global data migration and solution delivery of this Tier 1 (>$5M) programme of work.

My responsibilities included:
• Managing highly scientific business subject matter experts to ensure accurate requirements were defined for the solution.
• Engaging business units across the globe to plan and manage a global data discovery and migration exercise, tackling the
transformation of data from a variety of sources to the new system.
• Managing the creation and updating of business process workflows across a variety of disciplines within the subsurface domain.
• Planning and managing the development of the solution by a 3rd party offshore development team based in India and Houston.
• Implementing the global training and change management required of the new system.

Project Two: Geophysics/Geoscience Core Application Suite
• Working with the business to help manage requirements gathering, vendor selection and testing of the replacement for a fundamental geoscience application, during the procurement phase of this Tier 1 (>$5M) project.
• Planning and executing an RFI, RFP and Vendor testing/selection process for users in regional business units across the globe.

Project Three: SharePoint Migration Project
• Executing the migration of over 3200 existing Document Library and Collaboration Sites from SharePoint 2003 into SP2010.
• Managing a 3rd Party offshore development team based in India tasked with undertaking the migration.
• Handling the business process and technical impact of migrating through the various SharePoint environments.

At Barclaycard I provided business, technical and online banking expertise to a pipeline of digital projects spanning multiple business areas, interacting with and leading design and development teams globally across the UK, China and India. In particular focussing on regulatory projects affecting the Consumer Credit Market in the UK, I managed the implementation of these projects with internal business units such as Fraud and Legal through to external technology delivery teams.

Client EDF Trading: Feb 09 - Nov 09 - Account Manager/Project Manager

Managing multiple projects (with a combined budget circa £2M) from inception to delivery, I worked with client business teams to ensure all project deliverables were delivered on time and to budget. Using both Agile and PRINCE project management methodologies to manage 6 delivery teams, I ensured all risks, issues and change were managed effectively. I was responsible for the day-to-day account and project management, reporting directly to the CIO.

Managed the inception and delivery of a Market Risk reporting and Business Intelligence solution delivering a key regulatory requirement for the business. The solution enabled collaborative data input and direct reporting to the FSA.

Delivering a brochure-ware and transactional share-dealing website utilising MOSS 2007 technology as a workflow and content management solution, to empower the business to self-manage and administer the site.

Client Chevron: Aug 06 - Jul 07 - Project Manager (USA)

Based in California, I was tasked with creating and delivering a key strategic oil-field project as part of a global programme of work across Chevron. The project was a collaboration solution providing 3D visualisation of surface and subsurface work orders collating data from remote systems. The project enabled previously isolated business units/teams to collaborate in order to make better-informed decisions.

I took the project from initial concepts, through Business Case approval to delivery and successful integration into the business; helping deliver significant cost savings in oil production at one of the largest oil fields in North America.

My responsibilities included:
• Managing a 3rd party supplier geographically located in Norway with a 9-hour time lag.
• Transitioning into a brand-new market segment and building relationships with stakeholders from board level through to end
users at the oil field. Delivering the business case to senior stakeholders across the business.
• Working closely with end users to define requirements and leading workshops to engineer collaborative business processes
between disparate business units.
