• Responsible of managing two Datacenters based in Karachi and Lahore.
• Handling Network Operation Center based on more than 900 branches and
400+ ATM’s providing technical Supportto IT coordinators available at branch level to provide uninterrupted services and maintaining high uptime of branches.
• Configuring DSL, Fiber, DXX, VSAT, Wireless and WiMax links on routers and coordinating with vendors for maximum uptime of these links.
• Configuring ASA 5540 for branches to establish IPSec VPN and Internet access.
• Configuring IPSec VPN for branches on VPN Concentrator (3000).
• Managing and making necessary changes in configuration of SSG 550 deployed in infrastructure.
• Managing Orion Solar winds Network Management System to add devices/links and monitoring their performance.
• LAN/WAN monitoring, continuously monitoring all network circuits and critical links/hosts through NMS.
• Working with Routing Protocols like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF single/Multi Area & BGP.
• Configuring SSH, ACL's, NAT and IPSec on Cisco Router.

• WiMax deployment in around 650 branches as a secondary media.

• Operations and Maintenance of ISP network and devices includingCisco/Juniper Routers and switches, DSLAMs, ATM switches and BRAS.
• Manage Cisco Routers .i.e. 2600, 2800 and 3800 series and Juniper M7i, M10i and M320s deployed in WAN infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for monitoring and managing of branch network to enable smooth day to day operations which includes coordination with different service provider and resolving queries/issues related to WAN/LAN which also includes using of monitoring tools such as What’s up Gold, Host Monitor, PRTG and Cisco Works at the Network Department of Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan for the network of more than 100 branches countrywide running OSPF.
• Planning, designing and implementationof the local and wide area network projects regarding Routing, Switching and Network Management.
• Configuration of different WAN links such as Point to Point Radios, VSAT, Fiber Optic and DSL.
• Installation and Configuration of new Routers and Switches for new/old branches.
